Excellent Food, Great Service, Great Wine

The first night in any city is always a difficult one when finding somewhere decent to eat... we stumbled across this small (only room for around 20 people) restaurant down a very quiet side street called La Billebaude and have to say was one of the best meals I've had in a while! Just loved this place. Great service, spoke good English and the duck was a delight. Price was right and a good value

Enjoyed selections from the daily menu. Herring, fois gras, pheasant terrine for starters. Very good wine. Excellent steak, flavorful duck, and out of this world guinne hen. Only locals when we were there. Lovely decor, and so close to the tourist sites, yet tucked away on a quiet street. A relaxing delicious lunch. I recommend it highly.

Go no further, this is the place for you if you are looking for a normal, straightforward French restaurant with very good food, a traditional hunting-related menu (with classics like wild boar, pheasant, duck and terrines of game amongst other traditional offerings), welcoming staff (with some English and an English version of the menu), all served cheerfully and in a... The place is small with less than ten tables and with a hunting decor. We were very impressed by the ability of the waiter to manage everything in a timely manner and by the quality of the starters and of the main courses - fois gras, soup, boar and sea bream. Unfortunately the desserts were too sweet (eg the pear... More

La Billebaude offers an outstanding bistro meal for a very fair price. The menu offering was a 3 course meal for 32 Euro with moderately proved, but excellent wine offerings. The location is a few blocks away from the Eiffel Tower, so yes, there are quite a few tourists at the restaurant, myself included, but that's okay, we've traveled this... More

Our 3-course dinner experience was so good we came back for more. Had a couple of firsts in this charming restaurant: pheasant in cider jelly, wild boar, guinea fowl. The desserts were exceptional. Our favourite in the Invalides area, highly recommended.

We went to Paris for a few days, staying in the 7th arrondissement, the area around the Eiffel Tour, an area we have stayed in many times. We intended to eat in another restaurant but couldn't find it and decided to try this place, it was a stroke of luck. The staff are great, the food is fantastic, and it... More
