Yes the waiter understands english, but is very very rude! We have 6 people, when we just started to order the food, all of a sudden he said "You have 6 people, and you ordered 2 sets only?" We were just too shocked, because we didn't finish ordering yet. That is definitely really really rude! And we all just lost... More

This was by far the best meal we have had since arriving in Paris several days ago! The owner is very nice and welcomes you inside. We don't speak French and he handed us an English menu...which was very helpful. We chose this restaurant from all of the great reviews on this site and we were not disappointed at all.... More

I was skeptical coming to this restaurant because it belongs to the Rick Steves' approved list of restaurants, meaning that only American tourists eat here as unfortunately Rick has long ago scared away French natives and ex-pats from the Rue Cler area. Unfortunately for the restaurant, this part is true...out of 20 tables, only two French people to be seen.... More

Checked on tripadvisor as a good place to go. After frustration of long lines at tour eiffel we decided to go for lunch. Small place, only two tables with people... took the risk. The result was amazing. Great waiter, very correct and polite. Food amazing: mushrooms' ice cream with rabbit...uhmmmm. then a good fish and irish entrecot...desserts better visit them... More

For our first night in Paris and jet lagged from West Coast, i wanted the ability to read the menu and to have reservations near Eiffel Tower. It was raining so we canceled the Tower and kept the dinner reservations. We were eating on the early side and the second table in there. The owner had us well taken care... More

The food was good and the owner and staff were nice. This is a 21/2 hour dining experience and that's this Bistros pace. So come and enjoy a leisurely dinner.

After some great and not so geat meals in Paris, we tried Billebaude our last night. What a pleasant surprise. Reminds you of being at a small county inn.The food was excellent, the service well paced, and a 2010 bordeaux was outstanding. My wife is a french cook and felt they excelled in all three courses we had that evening.... More

We used our Rick Steeves book to find this lovely small restaurant near the Eiffel Tower 2 weeks ago and it was one of the most memorable meals of our trip! Beautiful space, great service, wonderful food. I would love to be able re-create the asparagus soup - fabulous! The duck was outstanding, as was the veal. Try to go... More

A colleague and I were both staying in hotels in the rue Cler area and wanted to have dinner together. This is a few paces away from the touristic delights of rue Cler and all the better for that. The menu is written in French outside and on the blackboard; we were kindly offered an English menu with rather quirky... More

3 days into our Paris visits is this was by far our best meal...this little gem near the Eiffel tour has a 34 euro set menu with starter, entree & desert. The place is a quint 20 seater restaurant with just 1 waiter. I had the asparagus as a starter and it was omg...I followed with the guinea fowl and... More
