Really nice place to go:)

I have been there with my mom and sister to celebrate to celebrate my mom 50th birthday. The food was delicious and if you will be there in happy hour you will pay for your alco drinks only 5 euro. Service nice as well.

We called in for a pre-show supper at 4.30 and chose two salads from the menu. My husband's chicken Caesar salad came with very little chicken and totally blackened bacon. My Norwegian salad had a blackened avocado and some wet, tasteless prawns, some greasy smoked salmon and some limp toast spread with a bright pink 'taramasalata'. The food was uneatable.... More

La Comete is a great restaurant in Paris. The food is very good and the service is perfect. We liked so much that we returned the next day. The confit canard was well prepared and the chicken tandoori was excelent. My wife tried de onion soup and love it.

The set menu has many good choices. The pate is delicious, the roasted chicken is very tasty, the salmon is cooked perfectly, the fries are the best I've had in a long time. The chocolate mouse was perfect and the crème caramel was excellent. The service staff were running around like chickens without their heads. The restaurant is very busy... More

Had onion soup, lamb chop and duck confit with my family; we all enjoyed it immensely. Lovely home made foods and brilliant service. Certainly not my last time.....

I spend here my mom's 50th birthday and we were very satisfied! Delicious food, nice crew and atmosphere. Only minus is small, only one toilet next to kitchen, but in general this restaurant is worth to visit!

We decided to go to La Comete after seeing the reviews online and we were not disappointed at all! The bagels and omelette were fantastic and the cost for 2 (including coffees) was around 35 euros. The staff were friendly and really helpful. The cafe was located just across our hotel so it was extremely convenient too. Definitely recommend this... More

Stayed at the Residence Nell next door so this was our go to place. Service was lovely, food was good and lots of it. We had frogs legs, burgers, lentils (and wine and beer). They were friendly and we would definitely go there again.

We went to La Comete for a few drinks on our last night in Paris and were very happy with our choice! The atmosphere is warm, service is friendly and cocktails are great. During happy hour (17.30 - 21) all cocktails are 5€ and very tasty. Also, a glass of wine costs between 3,5€ to 5€. The bar tends to... More

Café was located straight across from our hotel and found it to be full most nights but for lunch found it accessible even though a little cramped. Whilst I am quite a large person, I found the concept of other couples, business men sitting almost on top of you a bit daunting and a conversation stopper. I like a little... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
