We got off our boat at the Champs-Elysees stop (4 of us) and looked around for somewhere to have lunch. We were greeted at the door of Le Victory by a very friendly English speaking waiter. Our priority was air conditioning as it was very hot and humid and he led us to a room at the back and switched... More

my boyfriend and I were to this restaurant yestarday. It was a terriblle experience. the service was orrible in particular because the old waiter didn 't speak english. I couldn't speak to him in french because i didn't understand him but neither in english because he didn't speak english so the conversation was impossible. My boyfriend had a stomach ache... More

My wife and I stopped at Le Victory sunday the 25. november 2013 for lunch. The canard and the choucroute were quite delicious, and so was the 50 cl of wine and the prize of 50 euro total, of which 17 euro was for the wine. Pity we did not find this restaurant earlier, but we sure will find it... More

We went here for lunch and thought it was a nice place. It was reasonably quiet and the service was good. We both ordered the Tagliatelle Carbonara. It was very good, tasty and filling. I ordered a beer and my wife ordered a large coffee. The food was reasonably priced at 12.80€ each, however the drinks were expensive. The Kronenberg... More

Definitely agree with other reviewers. If you speak English you will get absolutely horrible service. I actually got almost burnt bread, even though it was good, it did not get refilled and the tables next to us got more bread at least twice and their bread looked fantastic compared to ours. The cheese plate and mozzarella & tomatoes was ok.... More

Tired from walking the boulevard, we just took a chance on this restaurant. We found the service to be adequate and polite. My wife's salmon quiche was superb; I had the carpaccio, which was a fairly large portion and tasty. There were locals eating here, and they looked like a business crowd.

Travelers beware! They are purposefully rude to tourists. We stopped to look at the menu in the window, were asked to come inside by a very polite young man, then subjected to the most rude service i've ever experienced. It over shadowed a quality meal and reasonable price. It was pretty clear they do not like folks that do not... More

Avoid if English speaking. Horribly rude older waiter. Not sure what his issue is with English speaking patrons, but the man should be collecting garbage not serving customers. Food was fine, but our experience with the waiter ensures that we will never visit this restaurant again and will let anyone going to Paris to avoid. The Balto is much better... More

We stumbled across this place on New Years Eve when we were expecting to either not get in anywhere without a reservation or pay a fortune! Its a small plave with a small menu but the food was lovely, the staff even though limited english speaking were friendly and helpful. We had 2 courses plus wine for less than 60 euros... More

Not really fair to judge this restaurant as an eatery. We were hungry, in the neighorhood and wanted to have a beer and french fries. The service was excellent, the fries done to expectation. A nice stop between lunch and dinner for us.
