Great good and excellent service !

When it comes to seafood , this is one of the best spot I've been At in Paris. We had the sole meunière and the dorade both excellent , lots of flavor, they even cleaned and cut my fish for me. Service was excellent and we were given a lot of attention. I will definitley come back !

We had a dinner here; booked the table through Trip Advisor and the Fork, and used the SmartBox voucher, since the restaurant is a SmartBox partner. The staff were really nice, very efficient and polite. We had a three-course meal and some port vine as well as a bottle of an amazing red wine. One of the best and most... More

We needed to be in the 19th arondissement, and were pleased to find Le Laumiere. The service was friendly, and they produced an English translation of the interesting menu. Snails were tasty, and not overloaded with garlic as we have found elsewhere. The fish was beautifully presented and flavorful, and the fine, tender entrecote was prepared with flames right by... We visited this restaurant as a treat on the last night of our holiday after reading very positive reviews. Whilst we both had very good snail and whelk starters the mains were very disappointing. The chateau briand was requested rare but came very well done, almost burnt, and served with only french fries to accompany - this course was €28... More

After some research, I went here in search of the best Quenelles de Brochet (pike dumplings in a crawfish-like reduction). These are so good that they are served with their own serial number. The place is old Paris, down to the décor and waiters. As others have noted, speaking French would be very helpful but it's not necessary. Be polite,... More

Recently dined at Le Laumiere with colleagues after a meeting. Pleasant waiting staff, food and wine. I would return if in the area again.

We visited the Le Laumiere one night because we have heard that it serves good seafood. We ordered the grand seafood platter which was delicious. This was paired with a very good bottle of white wine. Would recommend and would return.

This was the best restaurant we found in Paris for overall quality of food, lovely environment and the staff were friendly and attentive. It was first class service without being snooty. Although the menus are only in French and the waiters speak little English, they were very helpful with helping us understand the menu items. We ordered off the 39... More

Went there with friends and we all enjoyed fish, my friend was extremely happy with his dish of beefsteak tartar. The service was very attentive and the white wine complemented the food nicely. Great for a night out with friends, away from the noise of the big city. 300 EUR for 5 adults and 2 kids, a very reasonable price.

I stayed at Hotel Le Laumiere next door and was recommended to try this restaurant. A man was selling oysters out front and the place had just opened the front for dining near the sidewalk. I was escorted into the prime area of the restaurant in the rear. Handsome setting. Attentive wait staff. The best dish I tried was the... More
