nice man but poor food

At the price you pay this is quite a good deal however the food was truly awful. In addition the poor guy got my order wrong on all 3 courses. Sadly It also made me feel ill. Don't go here. Cute place though!

Ate here on two separate occasions during a weekend break in Paris. The restaurant location in the Latin Quarter provides for a great atmosphere. First used this restaurant two years ago and return when we are in Paris. It has never failed to disappoint. We have usually stayed with the set menu, which has provided excellent value. The duck and... More

Simply cannot be beaten for value with the €16 menu offering a broad range of traditional French cuisine to suit most palates and the €22 one a little wider selection. The decor with historical artefacts adds to the charm and friendly atmosphere of this family run restaurant where the owner and staff gave us a very warm welcome, remembering us... More

Even with few customers at the time we visited, the restaurant had so much atmosphere. Great decor and excellent food. The old host was brilliant and made us feel very welcome.

We have a great dinner here, with free glass of wine. The only thing, which was strange, that we sit in the middle of a doorway... Anyway, it was a great choice for dinner.

Lovely French food served by a very friendly family business. We chose the mussels to start which were lovely, the coq au vin for main which was full of flavour and absolutely delicious, followed by the Tarte Tatin. 3 courses for €16 each was a bargain and it was amazing, traditional French food. The decor leaves a little to be... More

We return here every time we visit Paris just for the Fondue. We order 1 cheese fondue and also a meat fondue and share along with a carafe of wine. It is an amazing meal and the staff are really friendly. We actually introduced another couple of ladies to the restaurant who we met in a bar earlier that night.... More

Not the classiest of eateries but great value for money, we dined here 3 times as we stayed right next door. Staff were friendly, my husband thought the duck was the best he had tasted. Fondue was great. Lamb was fatty by my standards but tasty (in the non fatty parts). Mussels were good we would dine here again if... More

Without a doubt, the best place we ate whilst in Paris. The restaurant is located in the Latin Quarter about 2 minutes walk from St. Michaels Fountain on Boulevard St. Michel. A family run business which we learnt has been in operation for 12 years. Originally the family came from Santorini, hence the name. The food is very French. Meals... More

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
