Nope just hungry for good food no matter where I might be and Il Sorrentino is just that – good food – strike that great food. So when you are tired of all the croissants and heavily sauced foods of France head your way over to the Eiffel Tower because not so far sits a gem of Italian cuisine. I... More

Nice restaurant with good Italian food very close to the Eiffel Tower. Place is relatively small so it is best to make a reservation or you might get turned down. Prices are decent. Service is too serious for the place with the waiters being a little uptight and not friendly. Some dishes tend to be a little touristy with the... More

If you were weaned on good welcoming traditional Italian grub the you will certainly enjoy it at Il Sorrentino, which offers the very best of this style of cuisine. All the dishes that exemplify the cuisine that you have come to love which used to be found at many establishments in the past, but which now have dwindled due to... More

Il Sorrentino is the perfact Italian bait for the unsuspicious Paris citizen or (most of the times) visitor... Italians as a matter of fact KNOW more than all the rest how to PROMOTE their products, even an average one... Under this context, Il Sorrentino is an extremely over-valued restaurant for its quality, and most of all for its very expensive... More

We found this restaurant on Trip Advisor, and when we mentioned it to our hotel concierge he confirmed it as an excellent choice. And, both were correct. The waiters were excellent, very friendly and helpful and the food did not disappoint. The wine was also excellent and, contrary to a number of Paris restaurants, very reasonable. We did not sit... The restaurant is in a small street between Invalides and Tour Eifel. If the weather is nice enough to sit outside this place has an unbelievable view! You basically sit right next to the Eiffel Tower. Food is delicous and prices are very ok!!

Wow! Where does one start with the review. Service all 10, food all 10, ambiance all10, this place really does a nice job. The specials for the night we're fresh and innovative. Bundles of aged ham stuffed with house ricotta, cepe carpaccio with baby arugula. The flavors were fresh and clean. For dinner there is an amazing pasta course done... More

Excellent food! just yummi! Really good italian in Paris you will not be disappointed! Service is very good too. Held by real Italians. If you like Calamar I suggest the grilled calamar it is to die for! Pasta is excellent too! It is just a few steps away from the eiffel tower! Reservation should be done! Cozy restaurant!
