Wonderful Italian Food

Found this one on trip advisor and yes, it lived up to the excellent reviews. Would highly recommend making a reservation. The calamari appetizer was excellent. The ziti with eggplant and cheese was to die for but my husband raved over the table-side made pasta. It is the specialty of the house... read more

This is a great Italian and though expensive it's worth it! The burrata is always heavenly, the pasta dishes prepared inside the Parmesan cheese are rich and delicious. The service seems a little gruff, but is actually kind and discrete when you get to know the waiters a little, who are Italian, and proud as they should be of this... More

We were looking for an Italian meal after trying out local cuisine for a few nights, our hotel concierge immediately booked us into Il Sorrentino claiming it was his favourite Italian restaurant in Paris. We couldn't agree more. It was in fact the best Italian I have ever had. The meals were well priced and the food was absolutely amazing.... More

It's was truly amazing food! We were starving when we arrived in our apartment and I searched tripadvisor for Italian restaurants in the area, il Sorrentino was on our list. Small restaurant but great food and great services! We had lunch and dinner the next night, we will be back again before going back home on January 7.

The food was excellent from the starters to the desserts. It is an address to keep for upcoming visits in Paris. Reservations are a must.

Nope just hungry for good food no matter where I might be and Il Sorrentino is just that – good food – strike that great food. So when you are tired of all the croissants and heavily sauced foods of France head your way over to the Eiffel Tower because not so far sits a gem of Italian cuisine. I... More

Nice restaurant with good Italian food very close to the Eiffel Tower. Place is relatively small so it is best to make a reservation or you might get turned down. Prices are decent. Service is too serious for the place with the waiters being a little uptight and not friendly. Some dishes tend to be a little touristy with the... More

If you were weaned on good welcoming traditional Italian grub the you will certainly enjoy it at Il Sorrentino, which offers the very best of this style of cuisine. All the dishes that exemplify the cuisine that you have come to love which used to be found at many establishments in the past, but which now have dwindled due to... More
