Mama mia, here we go again

This restaurant is one of the top Italian place in the 7th. I witnessed its opening and since then it's always full. Why? because the menu is great, the Sorrentino team came out with traditional but fancy Italian cuisine. The dishes are correctly priced and not too expensive. If you are lucky and... read more

Paid about $60 out the door for one person. The food was good, about an 7.5 to 8 on a scale of one to 10. Service was good. Located on a quiet street near the Eiffel Tower. Portions were reasonable and I left full. The batara was nice, the shrimp were good. Given the dearth of truly good restaurants in... More

This resraurant is literally a few footsteps away from the Eiffel Tower. If you stand outside and look up, you can see the tower looming right above your head. Recommended for dinner when you can enjoy the lighting up of the tower before going inside for a lovely bottle of cold white wine and some great food. I've been to... More

We loved the food, service and lovely view of the Eiffel Tower. Ask to sit outside and get a reservation for in the evening so you can see the lighting of the Eiffel Tower.

Loved this restaurant and always visit on our annual trip to Paris! Pasta excellent, tried the theatrical flambe spaghetti special and wasn't disappointed! Whole fish baked in sea salt excellent too. Traditional decor - courteous waiters - excellent food and wine. You can't go wrong!

We found Il Sorrentino by accident after a short walk from the Eiffel Tower - but went back twice more during a 10-day visit. The food was very good and, when we got a table by the window the setting was fun to watch, yet romantic. When we got the deuce by the door to the kitchen - well, not... More

The calamari appetizer was excellent, cooked just right with a very good sauce. We liked the showmanship of the parma spaghetti creation highly touted and tasted up to high expectations. I loved the linguini batarga that was near perfect, as was the veal saltimboca. The recommended wine was outstanding. Our daughter had the ravioli appetizer as an entrée and disliked... More

This is one of the best Italian restaurants I know in Paris or anywhere else outside of Italy. I have eaten there several times and i have always been impressed by the quality of the food. It is simple but perfectly cooked and the service is excellent. The waiters are very attentive and you never have to wait too long,... More

My wife and I knew about this restaurant from my step daughter who had eaten here during her honeymoon to Paris. This wonderful restaurant is on one of the side street leaving the Eiffel Tower. It's easy to find. Just go to the small street that borders the southwest side of the Tower (Avenue Gustave Eiffel). Go Northeast or too... More

Can't say enough good things about our meal here. Great Burrata and tomatoes along with pork dish. With a visit. Mom had a nice fish dish. Glad we came.
