Great michelin lunch

I'd rate the ETC very highly both on the palate and elsewhere. We focused heavily on seafood (scallops, salmon tartare, cod) and everything we ordered was cooked to perfection. The deserts (we had three when we couldn't decide on two!) are outrageously delicious so make sure to leave space for them.

Had lunch with a starter, main course and desert. The starter (king prawns) and the desert (chocolate suffle) were better than the main course (duck), but there was nothing really special about this whole lunch - until I discovered two days after that the reastaurant has one michelin star. I wouldnt say it deserves it, or it might just be... More

The food here was delicious, I recommend this restaurant to everyone. The bread and butter to start was tasty and the menu kept getting better. The wine was recommended by the waiter and was perfect. This place has a modern but romantic atmosphere and was my first taste of Paris, France. The

We chose this restaurant because it was very close to our Hotel and it has a Michelin star but I don't know why. During our holiday in France we had some much better meals. The food was nice (don't you love that word!) but not spectacular. There was a small amuse bouche, we had nicely presented starters - my husband... More

The food is quite good, but not extraordinary, and it is too expensive for the quality. Our meal for two, with a 50 euro wine, cost over $300. That was for two starters, two mains, a shared cheese plate, and two desserts, no coffee. There was no amuse bouche, which is quite unusual at this price. I was told that... More

I loved the restaurants take on two French classics: tete de veau and boudin. If you don't know what those things are they can put people off a bit: essentially, parts of a veal head (tongue and cheeks) and then black pudding or blood sausage. The tete de veau was served in a miture of terrine and dumplings and the... More

This is close to where I usually stay in Paris (due to the work location) and the area does not have dependable go to and good restaurants, so my wife and I took a risk and ended up being very happy with the choice. Very limited menu and very high quality ingredients, with simple but effective cooking style. We also... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend from Paris! It was another one of this hard to fund in the dark restaurants, but when we arrived, you may want to catch a cab. A very handsome young host/waiter/manager greeted us with politeness and manners. Elegant restaurant, great ambiance, fantastic service, the waiter was very attentive and assertive, spoke english... The food was great, apart from a slightly too-daring entrée (beetroot and crab macarons?!?). Definitely deserves its star. The decor is very nice, elegant and chic. The service was not arrogant as could be feared given the reputation of high-end french restaurants, they even adapted their menu to take into account the fact that I was ill and couldn't stomach... Staying in Champs-Elysees

Neighborhood Profile
Champs-Elysees
This area is characterized by its namesake avenue which extends northwest from the Louvre to the modern business district, punctuated by the iconic Arc de Triomphe. Grand embassies stand among impressive offices and presidential palaces; architecture from 19th century Universal Exhibitions, homes, art galleries, and 19th century streets designed by Baron Haussmann flank haute-couture boutiques. This neighborhood never rests, buzzing with visitors from around the world at all times of day and night, all within a stone's throw of the Seine.
