This was our third visit over the last couple of trips to Paris and we weren't disappointed. As ever the service was good and the food excellent. All members of our party had asparagus risotto - which was delicious. We sat outside in the cobblestone alley where there was a busy atmosphere.

We came without a reservation. The service is very accommodating. The restaurant location is ideal for people watching. The food was average. The drinks were fine. It was cool.

We actually were in that cute passage way to dine elsewhere but it was closed, much to our surprise as a local had just recommended we go there. It was very warm out and as we walked by the patrons at tables drinking cold beers...well, we decided we had walked far enough. The waiter was attentive at first, nowhere in... More

Excellent French "brasserie", good food and good service. Our waiter was friendly and helpful. The location is very good as well, very central. I would recommend sitting in the patio outside. A bit pricey but totally worth it! Seriously don't miss it, go for the Steak tartare or the chicken with potatoes.

We were staying in a hotel close by, and we wandered down the alley to this place on the first night of our trip. We got there early, so there were plenty of tables available. The alley is picturesque and great for people watching. The food (hamburgers, cheese, salad) was all fine. But the service was rough. When we arrived,... More

Everything is fake in this place. The so-called fresh orange juice comes from a bottle, the meals are non-authentics as possible (ready-to-use dressing for the salads, for instance). It's one of those ugly-but-a-little-chic addresses that you can still find everywhere in Paris. The decoration tries to be lounge-trendy, but it's just approximative, tacky and vulgar. And of course, it's totally... More

Relais Odeon is the restaurant which will never let you down. The menu has not changed in years (for good reason as their dishes are wonderful). If it ain't broke, don't fix it, right?! Earlier this year, they added some more choices to the menu (including some gluten free options) and the food is truly unique! The Thai Chicken Salad... More

Visitors to Paris seeking the street-side cafe experience are often enough looking for tradition outside the context of history, with the result that disappointment culminates the search for a 1950s-style boulevard bistro. A good many of the avenue-adjacent eateries in Paris have had trouble in adapting to modern tastes while also remaining faithful to their wonderfully unique culinary tradition and... More

We were attracted by the adorable little street that it's on, and a US friend had steered us here. It was a good solid meal, with good service, in a charming setting.

my friend recommended me this place so i gave it a try. got the beef tartar with fries which was average and also thai chicken salad which was nice. Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
