Saw enough good reviews to drop by for dinner during our week plus visit to Paris in July 2014. Our apartment was steps away so it was very convenient. Service was okay and the hamburger I had good and messy and the fries excellent, wife's quiche and salad very good. The place had a good local crowd and atmosphere... maybe... More

We stopped here for a mid afternoon drink and enjoyed a lovely half bottle of Sancerre, but it was marred by the attitude of the waiter who was borderline rude, and took ages to bring the bill when requested. Maybe it was because we only wanted a drink, but I wouldn't go back based on our experience.

Classic Paris in a great location semi off the beaten path but just down the street from our hotel, L'Empire in a great location near The Louvre. Very nice place to sit and enjoy a meal or just drinks. It was just the 2 of us, my wife and I on vacation.

This was a great place to sit outdoors and enjoy Paris in the evening over a delicious meal. Had our kids with us too. Service was fantastic. The waiter spoke to us in English and was so kind to the kids too. Enjoyed every aspect of this meal. Would definitely recommend and go here again.

Great little cafe. Good coffee and nice beers . Perfect place to sit and watch the world go by. Staff friendly and helpful to us with limited French!

La Taverne De L'Arbre is hidden in a residential area in 1. On St Honore', this unassuming cafe is on a corner and has retractable awnings, sliding windows and heat lamps. Very accommodating for wary travelers and unknown weather conditions. Attentive yet relaxed service with helpful recommendations. The steak and au gratin potatoes were really good! The tartare, bread, frites... More

This was a surprise to both of us who ordered it. Boudin noir and apple pulverised together and all shoved into a glass jar with a lid. We have eaten at this restaurant many times (admittedly it has been a while, since an undercooked Souris d'Agneau). We thought we would give it a try again, but came in for a... More

I've been to this restaurant several times, and it's usually better than it was today. Today my lunch was terrible, a veal stew (blanquette de veau) that was disgustingly loaded with fat. I had to literally cut off 2/3 of the meat and leave it alongside the plate. It was essentially inedible. Normally, this place is not great, but it's... More

Ive eaten here twice and both times meals were great, services was attentive and bill was very reasonable. Others have posted reviews of the oignon soup, which is truly wonderful. i also had the brandade (fish mashed with potatoes) which was the daily special. It came with a great salad, which had a lovely dressing. I can really recommend this... More
