All the tea you can ever handle

Here you can find any kind of good tea you could ever wan't. And the people working here can guide you through the over 1000 diffferent kinds they have. I will propably never visit a place that has more tea experience than this.

You learn to drink tea here. Or in other words: The first cup moistens my lips and throat. The second cup breaks my loneliness. The third cup searches my barren entrails but to find therein some thousand volumes of odd ideographs. The fourth cup raises a slight perspiration — all the wrongs of life pass out through my pores. At... More

After reading about this place for years and hiring a car to take me there, I was disappointed that we were unable to meet the woman name as one of the top tea experts. And after hearing about the special teas kept in the basement we were told that we could not see them and that basically the help were... More

Spent a wonderful afternoon in this beautiful tea shop specialising in the art of brewing tea and enjoying the tastes and aromas of the vast selection of natural teas stocked. The staff were very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. It starts from 20 Euros per person but you can sit and relax in the sumptuous surroundings for as long as you... More

What an enchanted experience. A meditation with tea where all our senses are delighted. I drank the best pu ehr ever. The tasting is an art and this art is mastered at perfection in this place. Beauty in a teapot.

Yes, this is a real tea house, no tea and scones here. As a tea lover of oolong and green tea this was a fantastic introduction to the chinese tea cermony. The staff welcomed me in and took my wet coat and umbrella and were very attentive. The tea is circa twenty to thirty euros but you are getting an... More

Drinking tea at the maison des trois thés means celebrating the art of tea brewing, tea serving, tea drinking. It will take you some time to get used to the ritualized preparation of your tea, but it is certainly worth the time. I do not think there is another place in Europe or the US that has so many different... More

The selection of the teas and the knowledge of Madame Seng on each one is simply mind boggling. She has even figured out how to filter Paris water to produce the most exact level of mineral (very little) and acidity to bring out the essence of all and every one of her teas. I have been there many times since... More

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
