Atmosphere and tasty food

Food was maybe not the best Moroccan I have ever eaten but there was so much of it . The lady touting at the door knew her stuff and made us feel welcome and as tourists that was fun. The place certainly buzzing and we found the experience very reasonable. We couldn't actually finish all the food... read more

Wonderful dinner in a wonderful place. Food really good, staff likable and charming place. But the best part was the mint drink that was on the house. I rally had fun in this restaurant!!!

This is a typical turbulent restaurant in the old latin quarter. Food is good (we had a Couscous Royal with lots of meat), but a bit expensive at €25/person.

One dinner for two. 80 euro with 0,375l of wine. Correct food - nothing spacial, comparing to real moroccan resto it was a disaster. Tagine recommended by waiter was barely good. Ok, soup harira was quite ok and small table in vitrine was - thanks to the view on the street - quite nice. We ordered mint tea, but first... More

We ordered couscous with a variety of meat (hot sausage, kebab, etc) served with a bowl of vegetables in a soupy broth. Meat and couscous were average tasting and too heavy for my own taste but vegetables seemed acceptable. The heaviness effect of the food remained throughout the day, as I was not able to digest the food, and ended... More

I've been there with my brother for his first Moroccan food experience and it was a complete deception. First of all, the lady who received us talked too much, which is a bad sign. Anyway, we gave the place a chance. Useless. First of all, we were promised a drink, which turned to warm cheap rose wine. Service took a... More

The Food was plentiful, this is located in the Quartier Latin district, it is quite smallish, but we were lucky to find a table. My partner ordered tajine, found it spicy and did not like the dish, but could tell it was really well cooked, even though tried for the first time. Indeed, it looked authentic, like on disocvery channel,... More

A hole-in-the-wall in the Latin Quarter adjacent to Notre Dames. Very friendly service that was super eager to please. Delicious couscous and wonderful fish tangine. The tables were full, the restaurant not fancy and it was a definite bargain for great food.

Couscous absolutely delicious. The best lamb I've ever had. Cosy atmosphere and friendly staff. Authentic feeling. Also Moroccans themselves seem to dine here. Nice location in one of the liveliest streets of the Latin Quarters.

Great atmosphere in the middle of the Latin Quarter. Very attentive staff, who made us feel very welcom and made room for our daughter's pram. Wonderful food - I would recommed sharing a cous cous as they are large portions, the tangine was great. A cosy restaurant, but don't be put off by the closeness of the other customers

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
