We ate here based on a recommendation and were not disappointed. We shared a foie gras pate and I had wood pigeon for mains. Beautiful, traditional hearty food perfect for a chilly evening. Extremely good value for money with a carafe of 50cl wine 8.50 euros. The restaurant was full as we left but the service had been faultless. Would... More

it's a nice place, where you can get tasty duck, gras foie and etc. Waiters are kind and speak english. The service is quick and you dont have to wait long. Prices are reasonable - about €25 for a dinner menu (without wine).

As others have said before me , good food , good service, good wine , beside our hotel so excellent place to eat. Waiter did try with English , and our French was as good as his English , but all in all worth a visit

Went to this restaurant on purpose to have a duck meal and that is what we did.The place specializes in heavy southern food.We had pâté de canard and confit de canard which were absolutely excellent..reservations not necessary ,service was very good..most of the guests were locals..The restaurant is big ,not fancy looking and the food is not for the faint... We come here every time we are in Paris and it never disappoints. The service remains quick and cheerful! The food, splendid. The duck, of course, pates, even the smoked salmon is first rate. All with wonderful gherkins, onions in large mason jars. Chocolate desert but also lovely fruit salad that actually tastes of fresh fruit, not the oversize, not... More

We sat in a glass bubble overlooking the passers-by in Rue de Vaugirard, sequestered from smokers. Considering that the waiters were struggling with English and we were struggling even more so with French, the result was truly remarkable. We opted for "le menu," a sort of set 3-course meal. With a small carafe of rose`, a larger carafe de eau... More

I had the bistrot menu here... apperitif, apperizer (foie gras), main (magret de canard) and dessert (baba au rum) all for 25 euros... the food was so well-cooked and the price was fantastic. I recommend it to anyone!

If you have a chance to visit around Montparnasse, why don't you try this Bistrot. We took a menu with aperitif, starter, main dish and dessert. I enjoyed duck carpaccio as a starter, duck breast with mushroom and potato as main dish, and creme brulee as desset. The cost of the menu was around EUR25 and every dishes were very... More

This was the only low point of our stay in Paris to celebrate my wife's birthday. We dined here on the evening of 14th February and knowing it was St Valentines Day I had booked our table some weeks in advance. On arrival we were shown to our table away from the main restaurant area where we felt a bit... More

The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds.
