Pricey, but Delectable!

Although this was a very expensive meal, it will be remember for also being delectable. The servers were very kind and although the menu was not available in English, they were very patient and willing to help us learn what was offered and what would be best to try. The ambience is like a cafe.

I was taken here by a friend and colleague who lived in Montparnasse, Paris. Now get me right - this isn't a flash place, but it is really top notch in terms of quality of food and wine. Highly recommended.

I went here for a casual meal one night. I had wanted to find another restaurant near Pernety, and this was listed with good reviews on TA. They take no reservations, and when I arrived the place was pretty full, so I decided to wait for about 45 minutes. It was a good decision. I had a glass of champagne... More

We last visited two years ago and happily things are just as good if not better. I would recommend getting there soon after opening at 7. This was a Wednesday and it was full by 8 and they do not take reservations. We ordered pork pate and egg mayonnaise for starters. It is the mark of a great chef to... More

If your looking for a great place to eat in Paris then you must eat here. Great food in a busy restaurant. The French waiter translated the menu for us and they were extremely nice. Good value for money.

I don't pretend to be sophisticated when it comes to food - I'm British, after all - but you know you've chosen the right place to eat when French customers are waiting by the door to get a table. The waitress translated the menu (written on a blackboard) and I simply chose at random. But what a fantastic meal. Okay,... More

It's not a real "cantine" as we call in France. Cantine is just to explain that it's simple as a cantine. We eat quickly in a happy ambiance (crowdy) but we degusted many good homemade dishes . the tables are too short and sofa to hard.

Quite a French restaurant but the staff translated the menu to is and were nice. Steak was gorgeous and really nice salt and pepper chips! Gets quite busy and atmosphere is quite rushed but overall good :)

After having been recommended this restaurant my wife and I visited on a rainy Saturday night and we were extremely pleased with the results. We decided to try the taster menu and thoroughly enjoyed every course. The wine list was excellent and overall we cannot recommend this place highly enough. Be sure to arrive early as people were waiting all... More
