We only found it by chance. Just opposite a laundromat and we sat down to have French wine. Hosts Mathieu and Samuel prepared a huge platter of French cheeses to complement the wine. Not too expensive - clean and friendly. Observed other people having coffee and cake. They do have a dinner menu but we decided to stay with wine... More

Stopped in for an early dinner and I was given the best penne carbonara I've ever had! The staff were friendly and spoke English well. Also, the free wifi was a bonus! Definitely going back go try their Nutella crepes!

We were watching this restaurant on one of the corners of Boulevard Magenta. It always seemed to have locals there. We sat outside, under an awning, even though the inside was typically charming. This is the 4th time we have had French onion soup in Paris. It was very good. I had a tomato, Mozzarella and basil salad. Sounds common,... More

Good dinner and good breakfast. We had brillint service but a guy at the next table had to wait for ages on his food. The croissants were the best we had in Paris!

We struggled to find a table in a restaurant near to our hotel on a busy Saturday night in Paris. Managed to get a table for six in this bustling place, but after placing our orders we waited for over 45 minutes for our starters to arrive. There was only one person in the kitchen preparing food for between 50-60... More

We had a lovely breakfast here on a quiet Sunday morning - wonderful start to a day of site-seeing. Lunch was also very nice, and the staff all spoke English, even when we tried some badly pronounced French!

This place was very close to our lodging, Hotel Magenta, just a few buildings down to be precise. The waiter we were served by was charming, and we went there twice for dinner and once for breakfast. Each time the service was great, the food delicious and the atmosphere relaxed. There is an English language menu available for those of... More

Meals good and good value for the area. Catered well for three generations. We always tip 15% and everytime we went the waiters were pleasantly surprised.
