unexpeced delicious and very friendly staff

We went there because it was close to our hotel. As we went inside we felt welcome and got a nice table for four. The menu was in french only but the waitress did her best to introduce us to their variety. She even offered us to take the menu of the day even as the offering time was over... read more

I'd love to say we visited this restaurant on purpose bus sadly that's not true. Our itinerary (done by my daughter) took us on quite a long trip to visit Holybelly, when we arrived it was worse than a jam packed tube in the rush hour and we were told that we would have to wait for one and a... This restaurant was close to our flat, so we ate there several times. Waiters are very polite and friendly and they really try to help and serve us. The food was delicious. Coffee is great. And one sweet- strawberry cream- was so tasty. The only thing that they could change, so that everything could be perfect is to add more... More

I have to say that of all the positive experiences I had with Paris cuisine, this is definitely not one of them. Charcuterie plate was good, but everything else was distinctly lackluster.

A very cozy place. We had a couple of meals there while staying at hotel Magenta. The menu is very simple and in its simplicity is very French. Loved the crepes, the duck confit, the foie gras penne and the roasted chicken with potatoes. Loved the relaxed atmosphere of the place. If we happened to be in the neighborhood again... More

I've visited this cafe twice now, not eaten in here but had a beer with my mum.We stayed at an apartment just up the road & after walking past this to & from quite a lot (the Jacques Bonesergent metro station is just down the road) decided to go in & see what it's like.I'd like to go back &... I thoroughly enjoyed this place for an evening out, we had dinner and drinks here on a Saturday night. After a long day walking around Paris, we just wanted somewhere easy going with good food. This place already caught our eye but was also recommended by our hotel around the corner. It surpassed my expectations...Excellent service, great food and a... More

This was my first time in Paris and I was disgusted at how one of the gentleman treated us while we were there. So much in fact, we walked out. I can only assume that we were treated with such disrespect because we were tourists. The rest of our stay, we completely avoided this place. What a jerk.

This place was only a stones throw from our hotel but, unfortunately, we only found it on our last afternoon. It has a lovely friendly atmosphere great staff and feels like a proper French Cafe with a modern twist. We didn't have a meal just a couple of coffees and a nutella crepe but, they were nice and good value... More
