The restaurant is situated in a very convenient location on the Île de la Cité and just a few steps away from the Pont Neuf. At the same time it's a very quiet location opposite a small park. So it's perfect for sightseers and couples wishing to have a romantic dinner. We enjoyed a very friendly and attentive service and... More

Food: horrible, service: awful, bill: deceitful. Setting: lovely. We booked and told the restaurant that it was a significant birthday for one of our party. It was also her last night in Paris. The setting was lovely being on a square and the weather was perfect, so it should have been an amazing evening. Instead it was horrible and easily... More

We found La Rose de France last year through friends. It was wonderful last year. The team made my girlfriends 50th A Fantastic Event. This year we stopped in for dinner and the chef has improved the menu even more than last year which we didn't think possible. If you are in Paris this restaurant is a mandatory must do!!!!... More

After a long river cruise through Portugal and Spain we ended a European vacation with a few days in Paris. We arrived at our hotel tired and hungry and the concierge recommended La Rose de France, a block or so from the hotel. We made our way to this beautiful little spot hidden away on the Iile de la cite... More

This was hands down the best restaurant we went to on a recent trip to Paris (August 2014), so good that we went twice. The first time we stumbled across this delightful restaurant it was very early to eat (5.30pm) but we had tickets to a concert so wanted to eat before hand. The staff could not have been more... We had planned a late lunch here after visiting the sites on I'le de la Cite. We chose this café based on TA reviews and were so glad we did. The café is situated on a lovely quiet square - Place Dauphine - just off Pont Neuf. We had heavy showers all day but with the awning were able to... More

Off the main track between the Isle de la Cite and the crowds at Notre Dame, this little cafe offers a fine menu and great service. We had a quiet lunch, met the French folks sitting outside at the next table and jumped back into the tourist stream around Bastille Day.

Good, attentive service, fresh ingredients, well-presented dishes & a friendly welcome.....come on, how hard can it really be, Paris?! La Rose de France ticked all the boxes for us - there's a number of places that didn't.., With the sun shining, a table outside facing the quiet, vehicle-free square was perfect. The lunchtime menu at €24 for a main course... More

Located in the delightfully peaceful Place Dauphine park on Île de la Cité in central Paris not too far away from the Notre Dame. My girlfriend and I just happened to come across it and decided to have dinner here. It was one of the best decisions we made whilst in Paris. Both our dishes were excellent and we found... More

If you are hoping to find a charming quiet location, upbeat decor and very good food, this is the spot. The place Dauphine sits off the Pont Neuf in a small park like setting. This restaurant has very good and well priced selections of interesting entrees, mains and desserts. All are carefully prepared and served by delightful staff, who are... More
