Peaceful park setting, wonderful meal

We ate dinner at this restaurant twice during our trip. It overlooks Place Dauphine on the Ile de la Cite. This is more of a locals place than a tourist place, so expect the wait staff to speak a little less English than you would hear in tourist areas of town. Seating is available on the patio but... read more

We've eaten here before and the food is very good. Service was efficient but not friendly. Very attractive restaurant and would highly recommend the innovative food. Price for lunch for two was about 50€.

Our hotel recommended this restaurant and we were glad we took their advice. The setting in a peaceful little square was lovely and very quiet. It seems that many people complain about the service, but our waitress was charming, attentive, and very helpful. The meal was one of the best I have ever had. My entrée was smoked Scottish salmon... We had a terrific meal here sitting outside on the beautiful Place Dauphine. It's a great place to get away from the noise and chaos of central Paris. Food was very nice and service was friendly.

Hotel recommended this place because the family was nice and they served good fresh food. Proved to be right. Unfortunately the night we ate there it was hot and we were inside to avoid the sun on the outside tables. A bit snug, and the bathroom was apparently tiny.

We ate here for dinner after attending an earlier concert at the Saint-Chapelle. It was nice to know we had somewhere TA recommended and close to our destination. The 'square' is very cute and frequented by many dog walkers as well as a younger crowd meeting and playing 'boules'. We enjoyed watching whilst enjoying a decent meal inside this tiny... More

The food and service were both very good. Gourmet coffee for dessert was divine with four small different desserts. Wait staff was attentive and concerned with patron's comfort. When it got cool, they closed side doors and turned on the heaters. Fish and veal were excellent.

Nice lunch spot - sat outside which was nice. Food was good - not the best I've ever had but very good. Service was decent as well. Worth stopping in for lunch if you're in the area.

I think it must have changed chefs & probably owners. We dined here several times previously & headed back here ready to enjoy it once again & was disappointed with the meals & the price. We will find other places next time.

Atmosphere at this restaurant can't be beat, lovely serene surrounding, beautiful table settings and they were able to seat me without a reservation. I had the Plat plus dessert at a reasonable price. I had the duck which was a bit tough, my first time eating duck so not sure what to compare it to? There were also some hashed... More

Staying in Ile de la Cite / Ile Saint-Louis

Neighborhood Profile
Ile de la Cite / Ile Saint-Louis
Two islands sit in the middle of the Seine at the very heart of Paris. The more majestic one, Ile de la Cité, sparkles with history. This is the birthplace of Paris, the home of the Gothic Sainte-Chapelle, and the site of the prison where Marie Antoinette was held before her execution. Tourists flock to see the iconic Notre Dame and the beautiful bridges that straddle the Seine. Ile Saint-Louis, the more provincial island, welcomes you with cozy traditional eateries, small boutiques, and what some people say is the best ice cream in the city. This is essential Paris from its very beginnings to its modern appeal.
