I found this restaurant by accident, and I am very glad I did. The food was delightful - reconstructed onion soup, tartare de boeuf, and a chocolat tarte with a coffee to round out my meal. Fresh, beautifully presented, and tasty. The service was helpful and knowledgeable, in English for this tired tourist. :-) On a Monday night, the place... More

Stumbled on this hard to find location and we are so glad we did. I had the lamb shank and it was lacquered in a fragrant rosemary sauce. Wines were great and priced right. The coffee Gourmand was the perfect finish to a lovely lunch.

Recommend by the concierge at our hotel and locate on a quiet street on the ile, this was a great restaurant. About ten tables, one server who was awesome, and a chef, great wine recommendations and well done food. The pork loin cooked eight hours was terrific......

My wife had made a reservation at this restaurant even before leaving home for France. It was a bit of a cool night so I was happy to be seated inside while all the outside tables were occupied. The service was excellent and the food and wine was very good. The French onion soup is a must try. It's not... More

This restaurant is across the street from an apartment we rent. It is on a small, traffic-less triangle park that is delightful in warmer weather. Wonderful Parisien menu at reasonable prices. Food is very well prepared and presented. Great for lunch or dinner. Friendly service. You will not be disappointed.

Had lunch there on a rather cold, damp day, but still sat outside. Near end, they put on heaters for us without our asking. Very nice food, very friendly service, great people-watching. Would go again.

We had lunch here on our first day in Paris after finishing a cruise on the Seine before exploring the remainder of Ille de la Cite. Wonderful lunch and the restaurant was mostly full with locals (always a good sign). The staff were great with our limited French and very friendly and helpful. We sat on the outside terrace and... The restaurant is situated in a very convenient location on the Île de la Cité and just a few steps away from the Pont Neuf. At the same time it's a very quiet location opposite a small park. So it's perfect for sightseers and couples wishing to have a romantic dinner. We enjoyed a very friendly and attentive service and... More

Food: horrible, service: awful, bill: deceitful. Setting: lovely. We booked and told the restaurant that it was a significant birthday for one of our party. It was also her last night in Paris. The setting was lovely being on a square and the weather was perfect, so it should have been an amazing evening. Instead it was horrible and easily... More

We found La Rose de France last year through friends. It was wonderful last year. The team made my girlfriends 50th A Fantastic Event. This year we stopped in for dinner and the chef has improved the menu even more than last year which we didn't think possible. If you are in Paris this restaurant is a mandatory must do!!!!... More
