The Train Bleu is certainly one of the great eating experiences in Paris. The fabulous restaurant in the 'belle époque' style is worth a visit. The food is good, but not outstanding, and is certainly over priced. However, you pay a premium for the experience.

I have been at this restaurant for a bussiness dinner, with menu fixed in advance, but no regrets: creamy starter soup, delicious soft lamb meat and chocholate cream with "gold" crocants, each followed with belonging wine. Really old French style ambient with view on train station immediately send you back to some stories of past centuries. I would like to... More

The place is historic, which in it self makes it worth while visiting. The staff are friendly and professional, and fast! The food is fabulous. This is not a tourist trap, as some say, it is a place to eat very good food before slumbering on a train. A must in Paris: Enjoy!

We went for lunch and we placed by a nice waitress, after that we had to wait around 20 minutes to be attended by someone!! The place is very luxurious and the food was delicious but overpriced. We received the starters after 25 minutes and the main courses after another 30 minutes " it took for us almost 2 hours... More

love this place, it has been newly spruced up. Staff are great, relaxing atmosphere. Wait for your train, read a book and order the best glass wine you can afford. Total pleasure.

I visited this restaurant on Christmas Eve with my mum after seeing pictures of the interior and reading about the food. I was not disappointed, the food paired with the wine was unbelievable and the setting and service was everything you expect from a fine dining experience in Paris. The Foie gras with walnuts and beetroot was the best I've... More

Are you eating in a museum? An art gallery, perhaps? Nope, it's a train station! The most glamorous train station restaurant ever. It's a beautiful setting, and most definitely worth having a meal here. The food is very good, and is priced accordingly. Leg of lamb, carved tableside, for example. It's a very fair price to value ratio, given the... More

A real exquisite experience. The decor is fantastic and the whole experience worthwhile. Very discreet waiters but very attentive all the same. A true French Cuisine restaurant where presentation and taste are present. The waiters are excellent very customer orientated and discreet. Even if there is only two of you you will be sat at a table for four. The... More

We dined here in 2012 while staying in Paris, this time we were 'passing through' on our way to Italy. Because we loved the experience the first time, it was a priority to do again. We booked on line. We were not disappointed. It remains an excellent experience. La Belle Époque still exists through the magnificent opulent ceilings, the service... More
