From the moment you climb the stairs you realise that you are in for a wonderful eve ning. The artworks. Which adorn this establishment are spectacular along with the ambience and service. The food is also fantastic and it. Reains one of the highlights of our Paris trip

Stunning atmosphere! If you have friends visiting they gonna love the French style. The food is good. Could be better for the price... but still. The atmosphere is definitely worth it!

Trip Advisor reviews are correct in saying Le Train Bleu is looking a little worn - and its undergoing a reno this summer - but the service and the food were outstanding. We both had the prix fixe menu and were not disappointed. The charm of the restaurant makes you feel that you have travelled back in time to the... More

After 3 days in Paris averaging 10 miles of walking per day (and 106 flights of stairs - up - on day 3), DH and I decided to take it easy on our last half-day, before our 2pm TGV to Lyon. So we slept in, checked out, and grabbed a quick café before hopping the metro with our luggage to... More

Enjoy the grandeur of the Paris fin de siècle with an affordable lunch. The most impressive décor makes you think that this is a very expensive restaurant but this isn't so. The dishes on the menu are normally priced. The service is rather cold

We stopped off here for lunch (I'd booked ahead online) on our way from St Pancras to Turin. We arrived with all our luggage in tow: this was whisked away by the staff - obviously well-used to dealing with this problem. We were in our rather crumpled travelling clothes in amongst Parisian chic and business suits, but there was no... More

Having dined there on several occasions in the past and had a good albeit expensive meal, I decided to take my family there for my 60th birthday. I have to say that the place is spectacular hence the 3* on my rating. But and it's a big BUT the food was at best very very poor for about £100+ a... More

This is a spectacularly beautiful, old place. We had a bit of a 'layover' in the late afternoon until our train departed so it was a nice place to enjoy a break. It is a full service dining experience. Not a place to 'grab and go'. We had a Champagne toast (pricey) but didn't order any food as there wasn't... More
