Lovely place.

I just went for a cofre while waiting for the train to Grenoble. It is a wonderfull place Ester for a meal or just for a coffee. Nice decoration very old fashion! The staff are very friendly. It is worth the visit even if you are not traveling by train, just go for a visit.

My daughter choose this restaurant for her 16th birthday & what a mistake!! yes it is in a train station which is a dirty, smelly station..when we arrived we were greeted qucikly, however the staff was running around for they were not ready for their guests (this was 7;30pm) We were seated near the back which was fine, however we... Just had time for a quick drink here last year before catching our overnight sleeper train to Venice. Absolutely amazing surroundings, so impressed by the beauty of the place, I have booked to have a meal here in May. Hopefully the meal will be as impressive as the building!

We were travelling from London to Barcelona, Eurostar then TGV to Barcelona. We had 2 hours for lunch. We prebooked Le Train Bleu and hoped everything would go to plan. After our transfer from Gare de Nord to Gare de Lyon, we arrived at Le Train Bleu with just under 2 hours for lunch. We had no need to worry,... More

One if the most amazing restaurants I have ever seen, with an amazing history depicted all over it´s walls and mural paintings or all the original destinations of the train station. Incredible view as well. Service was ok, and the food was really good, especially the small appetizers of traditional french cuisine made in a new style. Highly recommended just... More

Visited Le Train Bleu with a group of colleagues on a business trip. We were wined and dined in true Parisian fashion. I could hardly sit still throughout my meal, completely mesmerized with the aesthetics surrounding me. The food was fabulous, and you're served a different wine with each meal. (NOTE: I'm unsure if this is for all diners, or... More

This a ' bucket list' must do. It is rather like eating in the middle of an art gallery, a highly recommended experience. You do pay for it though. We had mains, a bottle of wine and water, all excellent but it was €133 for 2. I'm glad I've been there, won't ever forget it, but would only return if... More

Although one would think that this is a tourist trap, this is not the case. The meals are of a very high quality and are extremely well priced. We celebrated a birthday with friends that were for the first time in Paris, because in my opinion this is the most impressive restaurant hall in Paris. The waiters were very helpful... More

Fabulous ceiling and wall decoration brought us here, and despite some reservations about the price we were happy with the value - we chose the Arte (?) set menu at EUR66 each, with an entree, main and dessert, plus half bottle of wine and bottle of water. We went in on the morning we wanted to eat to book and... More

Perhaps you would go here for the ambiance - which is astounding - rather than the food, but the food is quite OK too. If you're waiting for a train then be sure to tell them as they'll quicken-up the service. You've got to give it 5 for the ambiance. We thought the cooking was around 3 to 4 although... More
