warm cosy atmosphere. Waitor was so nice

Liked the palatial decor . Excellent roast leg of lamb carved beside our table. Service superb and we will keep coming back whenever we drop into Paris. My third visit this time.

It is a remarkable room and worth a visit for that reason alone. The food was alright and quite forgettable. I ordered a three course menu with a half bottle of wine, a coffee and and after dinner drink. This cost me on the order of $100. I am glad I eat there once the room and service were excellent.... I had read about this restaurant in my Paris guide so we decided to take a chance and get a taxi all the way to the restaurant it was not a wasted journey. When we arrived we were greeted by very friendly staff, who spoke exceptional english and very polite. They sat us at the table in a beautiful setting,... More

Firstly it is impossible not be impressed with the ambiance of this establishment. The food and service was flawless. Like everthing of high quality, it has a price attached. A definite recommendation.

Wholeheartedly agree with most of the other reviews... if you are in Paris and have the opportunity, enjoy the dining experience here. Easy Metro down from Louvre, etc... the ambiance is amazing, service refined, and if you have teenagers, they'll love it (whether they've seen the movie Mr. Bean's Holiday or not). For children, 1/2 price any adult entree...pretty good... More

Amazing dining room, the decor is very impressive. The food was nice, but quite expensive for what it was. Probably paying for the beautiful setting! Wait staff were very attentive.

The place is just magnificent inside, huge room decked in blue and gold with enough frescos to adorne a cathedral. I went in April and the place was virtually packed at lunchtime, booking is essential. Although the place was busy I was agreeably surprised by the efficiency of the silver service - good for a restaurant this size, amazing in... More

SO beautiful--soaring frescoed ceilings and made for the traveler--they graciously and safely stored our many bags while we ate. Food was wonderful, as was service.

My wife, grandson and I had dinner here. I had eaten there twice before - once alone and once for business. This is an incredible place with great history and decor. It is a beautiful restaurant with lovely paintings and architecture. The attentive service is of the very highest standard with capabilities in many languages including Vietnamese and Chinese. We... This is food theatre. We think it is worth every euro, and you need a lot to really enjoy the experience, but it makes a fantastic end to a holiday or a celebration. The food is good but not exceptional. What is great is the service and the decor.
