Great experience

Decor was fantastic. Service was friendly, but a bit awkward. Food OK. It was actually less expensive than I'd expected. We really enjoyed it.

This restaurant is so stunning with an ornate painted ceiling.the food was delicious and the desserts were superb! The portions were large by Paris standards.

Decor is wonderful and only changes has been the updating of the old brass piped loos, which used to have wonderful views of passengers arriving from the South of France as one carried out the necessary functions! Food was relatively disappointing for the prices charged, and main course of veal cutlets not warm enough probably due to the quietly held,... More

When entering the huge bar and restaurant you are in awe. Everyone stands in line in order to be shown to your table. We only wanted a drink ! On walking to a spare table for two we were nearly overtaken by another couple but being British we did not allow that. The drinks were expensive , about € 20... More

We had a wonderful experience for lunch. It was like being in a photo lost in time. We had the degustation - Le train Blue menu. It was a delicious meal of seven courses matched with wine. The waiters were very attentive and ensured we were happy throughout the meal. This is not a cheap experience but we didn't feel... More

Title sums it up. Go for a drink then go somewhere else to eat. I feel bad saying this as the staff were fantasitc, but for the money you can eat better than this in Paris.

I could not have imagined a better restaurant to celebrate husband's Birthday in Paris! The location inside the Gare de Lyon train station, the opulent interior, fantastic service, and delicious food added up to a very special experience. Husband ordered a menu with fresh burrata cheese and organic tomato first, followed by a roast chicken with roasted and purred yellow,... More

This place is strictly counting on its unique interior decor and overall packaging to justify absolute ridiculous prices!!! There is no value in a meal et the Train Bleu and when you leave you get this negative feeling that you have been trapped but for sure you will never come back. The food was average not at the level it... More

Price are very very high for the value.. Of course, no one can argue, it's good food but I thought standards would be above.. A little deceive by service and cooking ..

The dishes were excellent and we love it so much. My girlfriend and I ordered the "Train Bleu Menu" as we did not know what to choose. (Some kinds of lazy!) First dish was good, especially the salmon! The texture of the salmon was perfect! It taste so fresh and moderate. Not too strong not too light. And the potatoes,... More
