Very good!

This restaurant was recommended by a friend and it was surely not disappointing. Very good products and friendly service. The profiterole is probably the biggest in the world.

I love this place. I always try to eat here if I'm in Paris for more than a couple of days. The food is consistently excellent and reasonably priced. I had the lunch special (leek tart, braised sea bream, panna cotta); my tablemates ordered other dishes including duck confit and cassoulet. We ordered a full slate of desserts -- all... More

Had to make a reservation for this restaurant and so glad that we did. The food was excellent! Our friendly and helpful waitress made some great recommendations for food, wine and dessert. I had the tasty and flavourful cassoulet and my sister had the foei gras with apple chutney and pickled ginger. She loved her main as well as the... More

Went to this place on a recommend and it lived up to expectations! Traditional French food in a cosy atmosphere. The foie gras appetizer was quite delicious and I really enjoyed the rustic style cassoulet! My wife ordered the Giant Profiterole which without doubt lives up to its name! I was also particularly impressed with the waiting staff who were... More

We came here for lunch last week after reading about this place here and on yelp. I highly recommend it - the foie gras ravioli are out of this world. They are the most delicious thing I ate in Paris the whole week. The restaurant is a little small, but it's very charming and the waitstaff spoke excellent English and... More

Had a reservation at 21:00 , got our menus at 21:30, ordered at 21:45, had our plates at 22:15 . Lack of service, the waitresses were pretending not to see us , like avoiding us. The food was nice but the attitude was horrible.

We had dinner with in a party of 5 people and I gave it an average rating because we had mixed reviews. I thought the wine was very good - we chose a pichet of the chablis. And, I truly enjoyed my soupe de poisson but I was a little confused as to why it only came with 3 croutons... More

Living in Paris for weeks and every time I passed by this little restaurant just regarded it as a cafe for tourists. On a cold raining day I went inside just to get dry and warm and surprisingly found out they serve foie gras for casual afternoon snack/meal. We were told that everything is home made in this store. We... More

Neighborhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
