I went many times as I live in the neighborhood. The service at cafe parisien is great !!! The food is really good, you have to try the entrecôte, drinks are good and prices are nice. Definitely a place to go in the neighborhood

A good welcome, a simple environment, spacious enough, music ok and not too loud. The service is really pleasant, accomodating my franglais and exhaustion at the end of the 6th day in Paris, explained the menu well and was able to clarify when I had questions about a dessert. The poulet fermier was gorgeous, the frittes where fine and the... More

Great, authentic Parisien food. Great location on the corner or Rue Monge in the latin quarter. The salads are huge and the coffee (une expresso) - est fantastique. You won't find many english speakers here - its all local clientele, which is what makes it great. For a real french experience, and a fantastic cafe that could become your 'local',... More

We ate here first couple of hours on arriving in Paris. We both had chicken club sandwiches and they were served with the best frites we've had during our week long stay. Sandwich was huge and tasty. Quite reasonable at under 15€ each including our drinks. Wait staff attentive, friendly and service was quick from time of ordering. Well deserving... More

You know it must be ok when they line out the doors for lunch & dinner every day of the week!! The burgers were the best I have had in Paris! Not too big but a lot of flavour. The chocolate milk shake was the type I have never drunk before but it was sooo good! Guess it is all... More

Final night in Paris and we wanted a local place for dinner and we found it! You must try the burger and creme brûlée

This place is awesome. My husband and I lived at a nearby hotel for three nights and during our stay we must have visited Le Parisien three or four times. Service was excellent, their Burger Parisien was the best burger we've ever had, and they made awesome cocktails. Breakfast was delicious too. Really liked the friendly atmosphere!

The friendliness and helpfulness of our server is the only reason I'm giving this cafe 2 stars. The menu is lacking in proper cafe choices (especially for Paris) . I had the carbinara pasta which was rather nondescript & my boyfriend had a club sandwich which was just okay. The wine is reasonably priced which may make this place acceptable... More

This is a traditional, small cafe, with good food and service. The cafe was pretty quiet on a rainy Tuesday in May, when my wife and I ate there, there being only three other tables inside where people were eating (others were outside having drinks only). Service was quick and efficient . There were many good and varied choices for... More

The first day I had lunch here, I order a salad with chicken, avocado, parmesan cheese, croutons, tomatoes -- sounds normal, but the house salad dressing made it truly remarkable (perhaps a touch of horsradish?)! Yum -- trust me, I don't usualll rave about a salad. The second day I had a nice 4 cheese quiche -- the slice was... More
