After a terrible food situation earlier in the day, this was a refreshing encounter and reinstated my belief in Parisian restaurants. The food was lovely and the atmosphere very friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a quiet, but satisfying, dining experience.

Literally just left the restaurant and had to let them know how much my wife and I enjoyed our last meal of the honeymoon. The share antipasti of prosciutto, buffalo mozzarella and rocket was finished off with awesome home baked bread that had that superb 'fresh out of the oven' smell and tasted great. The tagliatelle and ravioli truffe were... More

I was pleasantly surprised by this gem. I would not have expected such a wonderful Italian restaurant in the city of Paris. We travelled to Paris straight from Rome on a tour of Europe. My boyfriend, being a picky eater, wanted to avoid any classical French restaurant. We agreed upon Caffe Concerto but were skeptical as we had eaten true... More

We found Caffe Concerto while staying in the 9th, we were looking for something close to our hotel. I am glad we found it! Caffe Concerto is small an intimate but not crowded. The smell of their food fills the small space the minute you enter. The staff is friendly and accomodating. We started with a large anti pasti plate... More

This restaurant is authentic Italian. The owners/ chef are Italians. The pizza is wood fired and as good as any in Italy. The gnocchi Gorgonzola is to die for. The wine list is good including stunning Italian wines. Great food great price! So if you are tired of French food this is the place to go to! I can't wait... More

This is by far the best place to eat in the Opera/Bourse area. Forget the French brasseries which serve just average food, this Italian restaurant is excellent. A great chef and and a very friendly and welcoming manager. Thank you Michele and Massimo.

It was a rainy night and we had just arrived in Paris. We wound up going right near our hotel and luckily found this great little restaurant. The food was terrific , the prices reasonable and the host/owner delightful. If you're near there enjoy!

Found this restaurant by passing as it was very close to my hotel and glad I dropped in. The staff very friendly and provided an English version of their menu. The food was fresh, full of flavour and had good portion sizes. 2mains and 2 drinks were 45 euros which is around the average for the city but the quality... More

This restaurant is amazing. The food and service is wonderful. Massimo the owner and chef made my family feel like we were home. I know we were in Paris but if you want great Italian food and a warm atmosphere this is the place for you. The tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and truffles is to die for. Also great pizza.... We went for dinner on Fete Nationale. We knew that choices for that day would be limited, and this looked like a great little spot based on the TA reviews we read. We were not disappointed. The host was so friendly and welcoming, seating us right away. Food was incredibly fresh, and just like we would have had in Italy.... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
