Good food, polite enough service but overpriced

This place was a little more expensive than we'd usually like, but we were looking for somewhere nice to eat to celebrate our anniversary so we were happy to give it a go since it was just a short stroll from the Eiffel Tower. Overall the food was a mixed bag. It was traditionally French... read more

I had the duck (expensive, but wow), and French onion soup. Both were fantastic. Wife and daughter also greatly enjoyed their meal. The presentation of the food was more than I am used to. Obvious that the chef spent some time making his very good food, look even better. Location, one block from the tower, was very convenient. Nice attitude... More

We ordered from the "three courses for €22 menu" and we were not disappointed ! For starters I recommend the gratinated French onion soup, followed by steak and chips, finished with the apple tarte tatin. Service was great and very quick and the food was superb - great value for money considering it's just a stones throw away from the... More

We stopped by this restaurant without checking reviews as it was lunchtime and about to rain. Food was okay, nothing special, service was the typical offhand Paris type that has almost disappeared these days. Price was okay. Where was sat was a bit cramped and not very comfortable. As a place to get out of the rain - it's okay.

Popped in for a snack as it is near our hotel. The food and service were both good though the ambience is more sophisticated than cosy

Stopped here for a little breakfast before heading over to the Eiffel Tower. It is just a block away and close to the C train metro station. We each had the English breakfast. There was too much for us to eat it all. The eggs were pretty decent and the bacon was actually cut up little slices of country ham.... More

Decent food and good service. Fluent (or at least fairly good English). Can be a nice spot to grab a coffee or hot chocolate when you're near the Eiffel Tower.

Close to the hotel, and perfectly adequate for lunch - standard fare, at a reasonable price. We sat in the outside part (under cover) because that accommodated a wheelchair, but this meant we had to enjoy the cigarette smoke of other customers. I suppose that is Paris.

Had chicken with the wok vegetables and a side order of frites. Followed it up with an extremely tasty creme brulee. Very enjoyable meal and atmosphere.
