Patient, lovely waitresses and wonderful recommendations and wine made our experience extraordinary. It was one of the nicest meals we've ever had! Beautiful escargot, and the specialty entree (hambourgeois) is a must! I had the rabbit leg for main which was incredible and my husband the confit duck - delicious!! The French toast dessert was also amazing. We couldn't have... More

Myself and a group of friends had one of the best meals and experiences in a restaurant i can remember. The location in the funky neighbourhood of Le Marais is amazing. The restaurant itself is quite small (read charming and cozy). It has a lovely upstairs/mezzanie as well as the downstairs part. The menu is written on a blackboard and... More

A friend and I were extremely fortunate to wine and dine at this little gem… We were welcomed by the smiling staff as soon as we walked in. It was a good job we had a reservation as the restaurant was packed! We were shown to our seats on the first floor going up the typically French spiral staircase which... More

Went here while in Paris for the weekend. Was not disapointed! They have a good choice of many fresh dishes. My girlfriend had the fish and it was delicious and very fresh. I had the veal tartar and it was great. Would definitely recommend!

We have been to Paris many times. This little gem in the Marais is not to be missed. We were in Paris for 7 nights. It was so good we had dinner there 3 times. The staff were so friendly, they went out of their way to accommodate us. When they did not have my wife's favorate drink they made... More

This restaurant offers seasonal menu, written on the board. Everything is very fresh and expertly prepared. The website's menu is only for the example. Although the menu looks a little pricey, they offered us a 20% discount if we order three-course meal, which brought it back into a reasonable priced category. Red wine selection is good and priced well. They... More

We tried this restaurant based on the reviews here. As mentioned previously, the restaurant is small...probably holds 30 people...tops! the size of the location is the only thing "small" about this restaurant. From the time that we walked in, we were amazed. The ambiance is like dining in your friends kitchen, where everyone had conversations with each other. The 2... More

We went here on our last night in Paris. I searched on-line and was hoping for an amazing experience but left disappointed. Pros: great atmosphere, appetizers and wine were excellent, service was great Cons: dinner was average at best - we both ordered steak and neither of us finished our meal - it just wasn't quality meat. With that being... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
