On edge after a long day of travel, the concierge at our hotel recommended Le Colimaçon. One bite into our opening foie gras dish with french toast, and I was immediately at ease and knew I was in store for a great meal. The service was exceptional and friendly. The menu chalkboard was written in French and our server patiently... More

Great quality traditional French fare at reasonable price for what you get. Fabulous service - wait staff we're attentive and very knowledgable and helpful with both food and wine menus. Lovely atmosphere in a lovingly refurbished apartment. Highly recommend to anyone seeking a quality meal in the marais.

Cozy restaurant with and excellent environment, food and service. If you are not very familiar with the French cuisine just go with whatever the house recommends...everything is excellent

Recommended by person from whom we rented our apartment. Just down the street. Fresh food, prepared simply. Gravlax and a chevre salad to start followed by beef ( ask for it bien cuit or it will be bloody) and lotte. Excellent service. Menu changes daily to reflect what is fresh. Recommend booking in advance; people were turned away as we... More

We had made a reservation via internet and everything worked fine. Staff is friendly. Tables are tiny as always in Paris. Food quality was good but we missed "Finesse". Therefore the price seemed to high for us. Price for the bottled wine was fair.

This quaint little restaurant has pretty darn good food and the service really attentive... Any foreigners complaining about not getting good service because they're foreigners are probably terrible tourists.... Believe me I see a lot of those living in the marais. I'd go back.

We were wandering in the Marais district in Paris, actually looking for another restaurant, but it was closed on Monday night. Our criteria, for dinner, was to be small and interesting with contemporary French food. It was 7pm July 28th and we chanced upon Le Colimacon. It looked picture perfect. We had no booking, but we were able to sit upstairs by... More

We happened upon this restaurant one night on our honeymoon in Paris. We hadn't made reservations anywhere, but since it was on the earlier side, we decided to just venture out and find a nice place. Le Colimacon was about a 10 minute walk from our hotel in Le Marais. The waiter, Matthieu, greeted us upon arrival and found us... More

We had tried to reserve a spot at this restaurant 3 years ago and it was always fully booked. Tonight we took a chance and stopped by at 7:45 and got a table. The meal was absolutely top notch; one of the best if not the best restaurant on this summer trip to Paris. I had a lamb dish with... More

My husband and I stumbled upon this restaurant in the Marais during our honeymoon. Without a reservation, they seated us in this beautiful table on the second floor with Juliet balcony. The rabbit, to this date, is the best I ever had. So good, that last night I had a dream where I was trying to remember the name of... More
