Go here - it is wonderful

A little 'out of the way' but take the time to find it and you will be rewarded with a wonderful meal. The staff are super friendly and helpful, the wine was wonderful and food was superb.

Wonderful place, friendly people. Perfect food and amazing wine. It was my birthday dinner so I enjoyed every moment. We will return again.

Today was the second time that I have had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant and I was even more pleased with the food than a few months ago. The choices were diverse and delightful, with a constantly changing menu. I ended up having an exquisite cheese and truffles starter, a beautiful lobster with a very tasty risotto and a... More

This is definitely a destination restaurant and it is very well priced in comparison to other Parisian restaurants which are no way near as good. Do not hesitate to book - you will not be disappointed!

I was traveling alone on business to Paris and passed by this restaurant many times thinking how inviting it looked. I stayed just a few doors down and thought it would be too snooty for (just me) in Paris. It was pouring rain and I walked in. I was very surprised to be greeted with a smile and a table.... More

We looked on Trip Advisor for a restaurant in the Marais district and this one stood out as it was french cuisine and the write ups were good. Booked a table on line for 830 but ended up being a little late as my phone was on British not French time. They were busy, but still accommodated us. My French... More

We were looking for a casual, authentic Parisian dinner near where we were staying in the Marais, and Le Colimacon turned out to be the perfect spot! Our terrine with deer and foie gras was spectacular, and the duck and fish we ordered were both delicious. Also really enjoyed the pain perdu for dessert. Great and inexpensive wine selection. The... I make sure to eat here at least once on every trip to Paris. It is a charming, local restaurant that never fails to surprise me. Be sure to book, because there is no bar for waiting!

We were staying just down the road from Le Colimacon in Rue Vielle du Temple and didn't think we would get in, lucky for us there was a table for the three of us. Service was exceptional, they were very patient with our fractured French (my wife speaks a little but Neither my daughter or I speak any). They kindly... More

I had read about this restaurant but doubted I would get in without a reservation. I happened to be in the area and it was early by Parisian standards, so I was able to snag a table. The setting is lovely and very romantic. My server was thorough and very helpful with his suggestions. I enjoyed escargot to start, which... More
