This is definitely a destination restaurant and it is very well priced in comparison to other Parisian restaurants which are no way near as good. Do not hesitate to book - you will not be disappointed!

I was traveling alone on business to Paris and passed by this restaurant many times thinking how inviting it looked. I stayed just a few doors down and thought it would be too snooty for (just me) in Paris. It was pouring rain and I walked in. I was very surprised to be greeted with a smile and a table.... More

We looked on Trip Advisor for a restaurant in the Marais district and this one stood out as it was french cuisine and the write ups were good. Booked a table on line for 830 but ended up being a little late as my phone was on British not French time. They were busy, but still accommodated us. My French... More

We were looking for a casual, authentic Parisian dinner near where we were staying in the Marais, and Le Colimacon turned out to be the perfect spot! Our terrine with deer and foie gras was spectacular, and the duck and fish we ordered were both delicious. Also really enjoyed the pain perdu for dessert. Great and inexpensive wine selection. The... I make sure to eat here at least once on every trip to Paris. It is a charming, local restaurant that never fails to surprise me. Be sure to book, because there is no bar for waiting!

We were staying just down the road from Le Colimacon in Rue Vielle du Temple and didn't think we would get in, lucky for us there was a table for the three of us. Service was exceptional, they were very patient with our fractured French (my wife speaks a little but Neither my daughter or I speak any). They kindly... More

I had read about this restaurant but doubted I would get in without a reservation. I happened to be in the area and it was early by Parisian standards, so I was able to snag a table. The setting is lovely and very romantic. My server was thorough and very helpful with his suggestions. I enjoyed escargot to start, which... More

We wanted somewhere for good food, and some atmosphere, within walking distance of where we were staying. We found Le Colimacon on a web search and booked on-line. Easy to do. The menu is not hugely extensive, but the staff were keen to tell us that all the food is fresh and organic. We each had different starters, different mains,... More

Nice service from the owner, good traditional French food, lovely small restaurant with good decor and lighting. Good wine selection. Not too expensive, but not cheap. A fine choice for dinner.

I visited this restaurant as part of a group of four. We booked online via TripAdvisor/thefork and I'd definitely recommend doing so - it's quite a small restaurant and we saw other groups turned away on the night. The food was delicious and reasonably priced (not cheap, mind you, but this is high quality food in an expensive area of... More
