We made a reservation here because it was close to our VRBO and we were tired after walking our legs off all day. We were seated upstairs (never realized there was downstairs seating) and were welcomed with An amuse bouche of cold cauliflower soup garnished with tiny fried mushrooms. For appetizers, we shared the ten (!) vegetable soup, the terrine... More

We booked in advance on a Friday night and got put downstairs - had a lovely meal for four that came to just over 200€ all in. Some locals and some tourists in a tiny atmospheric downstairs room. More

Discovered this place by happy accident. We were renting an apartment on the same street and the iPad Paris app recommended it. This restaurant embodies what you know and think about French cuisine. Each bite so flavourful and you can taste how much work went into it. My dining companion had the pig's feet pie both times we went, that's... More

We had no reservation but got lucky. Make a reservation! The host was gracious and funny, and took great care of us. He made us a lovely little amouse bouche while we looked at the menu. The dinner was delicious! Coq au vin for my friend and lamb for me. Good wine recommendations as well. Just a couple of blocks... More

This was a great meal, shared by 3 adults and 2 teenagers. The welcome was friendly, followed quickly by a complimentary amuse-gueule, a melon foam/mousse. The menu was fairly simple: a choice of appetizer, main plate, and dessert for Eur 38 at dinner time, with a strong, even if limited, variety of choices. I had cream-of-cauliflower soup with a lentil-filled... More

The restaurant was quaint, clean and perfectly "worn", the staff was elegant and cheerful and the food was SO AMAZING! True foodies will love this place as well as those who are just hungry for a great meal. Lastly, the fixed price menu of 35 euros (or 38?) meant that it was an affordable meal. Fantastic!!! More

This is the second time I have eaten at this restaurant, located near Les Halles and situated in the first two floors of a 16th-century building. The first time we were seated upstairs and on the second, downstairs. I prefered eating downstairs because the the small lower level dining room, which is frequented by French customers, is charming, with photos... More

We had a wonderful lunch!! The waitress used our Marling Menu-Master (menu translation book) to tell us what was on the menu. She even said, “don’t be afraid” of choosing a meal. I had chicken and noodles, which were buttery and melted in the mouth. It came with some to die-for mirabelles mushrooms, and the Chardonnay wine was wonderful. My... More

This little gem seats only about 20 people. While this location has been a small restaurant physically unchanged for decades, the new chef/management has been in a place for about one year. The starters are classic French bistro items (radishes with salt, various terrines) assembled nearby by the restaurant's two servers. Main items are deftly prepared classics that emphasize local...
