Ok, so one of my goals while visiting Paris was to eat Coq Au Vin. I asked the Concierge staff at Hotel Lutetia which by the way is the best staff ever! They recommended this restaurant and nice again they nailed it. I'm a cook and I'm Latin, so you know we like our meals nice and seasoned. Both dishes... More

A lovely small neighborhood restaurant offering an excellent, but limited offering of food. Service was charming and outstanding, and food was cooked in front of customers. Few empty plates or unhappy people. A family-feeling in an excellent dining environment.

We visited to this restaurant several times during our two weeks in paris. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful even though our french was limited. They were also very nice to our 5-year old. On top of that, the food was fantastic. The entrecôte was among the best steaks we have had.

The restaurant La Rotisserie (ex-du Beaujolais), the small brother of La Tour d'Argent, offers typical french cuisine in a cozy room, with nice yellow checked tablecloth and friendly staff (the cat strolling under the tables adds an extra parisian atmosphere). Tables are either facing the river or allowing an interesting view of dishes being prepared and roasted in a huge... More

It can be difficult to find a great brasserie in Paris. This place is a must....it is owned by the owner of the famous Tour d'Argent so you can be sure of the quality of what you will be eating. Super friendly staff....you won't regret going to this place.

What a disappointment. We lived in Paris in 2006 - 2007 and this was one of our favorite places. We were there at least once a week and it was the first place we would bring friends. The food was outstanding. We returned in 2010 and the quality had deteriorated. Tried it again in April 2013 and it was just... More

A friend who lived in Paris suggested this restaurant, so we scrapped other plans and headed there for chicken and their tarte tatin. Perhaps the restaurant has changed hands but it is now awful. Soggy tasteless salad. Dry tasteless chicken. Soggy shriveled haricots verts. And they decided not to make their well known tarte tatin that day because it was... More

We tried this restaurant on our vacation last November and enjoyed the food and service. We went back the next night to try the roast duck, the signature dish that the restaurant is apparently named for. Excellent!

I'm surprised at the recent bad reviews of La Rotisserie du Beaujolais because we were just there two weeks ago, and we found it just as good as ever. We ordered much the same thing as we usually do, but we made a mistake and ordered a side dish of asparagus, and it turned out to be a cold salad,... More

Our past several visits have been disappointing. Roast chicken formerly was a delight is now overcooked. It seems that it is reheated just before serving. Mashed potatoes were nothing special. Lately clients seem to be mostly loud Americans. We have probably eaten here ten times over the years, but I doubt that we will return.
