Based on a good experience here in May of '13, we went again last night with two other couples. We had an 8:30pm reservation, were seated promptly and received the appropriate level of attention to get drinks/wine, etc., then we were left alone for a bit to get settled, talk about menu, etc. When we ordered, the maître d' handled... Fabulous little find on the Left Bank. The coq au vin was the best I've ever had. Others loved the perfectly rost chicken and duck. Can't wait to return!

Stopped in for a nice lunch which was a bit pricier than anticipated, but worth it. Started with seared fois gras with roasted pears, and a traditional leek salad, and finished with duck confit and coq au vin which was all very good. Things could have used a bit more seasoning (I.e. Salt) but that is personal preference. Dessert of... More

Usually, I am suspicious with these more or less subsidiary of famous restaurants ; in the neighborhood I was recently badly disapointed with Maître Albert, something of the same kind of restaurant. But as it is more and more difficult to find a proper restaurant in thèses districts, I tried the place. My opinion is that it is not completely... More

Look no farther if you are yearning for escargots, poulet, perfectly done sea bass, chocolate mousse, creme brûlée, etc. and a careful selection of wines. A very informal open kitchen with an equally friendly staff makes this restaurant one I am putting on my most reliable list. Topped off with a window table for the sunset on the Seine. We... More

There is little inventive about the food here, but invention doesn't always work. On the other hand, the food is just what it should be. No folderol, no unpleasant surprises, just plain good.

Recommended by our apartment owner, our family visited the restaurant for two times in our 7-day trip. The staff were great making us comfortable atmosphere for enjoying the dinner. A wide range of choice of food with very good quality, the roasted duck was very delicious! Reasonable price in view of its proximity to the Seine River. I'd love to... More

Sharing ownership with the tour d'argent, made us expect great things - we were wrong. The welcome was lukewarm, and the service very disappointing, particularly wine and water - we had to ask three times for the latter, and poured our own wines through the meal. But it was for the food we had gone - suffice it to say,... More
