Second visit, just as good

We ate lunch at La Rotisserie last year, same date, ate same meal, kidneys in mustard sauce and they were just as good as I remembered. My husband had the cod this time, pot au feu last time, along with snails as a starter and his meal was also very good. The cafe Royale is a perfect way to end... read more

Lovely ambience, buzzy feel. Great attentive service. I had an excellent leek starter, that gets a 9.5. I chose the Coq au Vin, and it was a complete disaster and I had to send it back. The bacon was not properly browned, the white meat was overcooked and dry and the sauce had not permeated the meat; and the dark... More

Food was acceptable and it would have been alright had they bothered to turn on the radiators to keep the enclosed pavement terrace warm and comfortable for customers but they did not, I cannot think why ? perhaps to improve their bottom line so the Manager could shine in front of his management? This turned the evening meal into an... More

This busy rotisserie is owned by the famous Tour d'Argent which is close by. The specialties are cooked on the rotisserie and the food is perfect. Superb meats. Duck is outstanding perfectly cooked and a generous portion EU 62 for two. A bottle of Vacqueras Cote de Rhone EU 42 bottle for the Tour d'Argent was superb. Service is cheerful... More

As a foodie I am sorry to state that they do it know how to cook a seafood or boujouille.Furthermore they stated that the St emillion that I asked for , which was on their list was not available "due to holidays"

Love this place. Third time I have dined here. Always enjoy the atmosphere, though I must say, don't arrive too early. We got there at seven because we were starving having just arrived in Paris. We should have waited, as the service was a bit distant and it seemed they were shocked we arrived so early. Oh well. The chicken... More

Very nice the environment. Chosen by chance in a windy and cold December Saturday, we were very satisfied about the price and the quality of the food and Service. Excellent appetizers, wine and main courses. Outstanding the choices of the desserts. It looks like a Roman Osteria. Recommended for a day out in Paris.

Fantastique! Very nice French Bistrot just opposite Ile St Louis South side, on the Quai Tournelle, the restaurant offers typical french cuisine in a nice anc cozy ambience. Prices are around 40€ per person plus wine and need reservation. Nice and friendly staff. Open kitchen with grill.

a warm and elegant bistro with attentive service and excellent classic French food. The escargot was perfect and the roast chicken and mashed potatoes were simply the very best. What a wonderful restaurant!

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
