Its The Chicken!

Rotisserie is just that...the food is best when its grilled or cooked in a rotisserie. If you stick with this formula you will not be disappointed. As someone who eats more than my fair share of chicken, theirs is one of the best. For 22 Euros you get a half rotisserie chicken on a bed of mashed... read more

The poulet is the best. And the wait staff is very friendly and attentive while not being overbearing.

Even though we booked a table for 9.00 pm, we arrived at 9.30 pm; the restaurant was full and they kept our table. Really kind of them even though we were definitely guilty. Great starters, like escargot, ham and foie gras. With respect to the main course, we enjoyed amazing spit roasted duck, one of the best ever. Very good... More

We had lunch here after Notre Dame visit, a block away. We followed a recommendation of a friend, did not look at the TA before going. The food is really good, poultry and fish. Dessert are amazing! The service is excellent and the bar tender is very knowledgeable about wine selection. Definitely recommended.

We ate lunch at La Rotisserie last year, same date, ate same meal, kidneys in mustard sauce and they were just as good as I remembered. My husband had the cod this time, pot au feu last time, along with snails as a starter and his meal was also very good. The cafe Royale is a perfect way to end... More

Lovely ambience, buzzy feel. Great attentive service. I had an excellent leek starter, that gets a 9.5. I chose the Coq au Vin, and it was a complete disaster and I had to send it back. The bacon was not properly browned, the white meat was overcooked and dry and the sauce had not permeated the meat; and the dark... More

Food was acceptable and it would have been alright had they bothered to turn on the radiators to keep the enclosed pavement terrace warm and comfortable for customers but they did not, I cannot think why ? perhaps to improve their bottom line so the Manager could shine in front of his management? This turned the evening meal into an... More

This busy rotisserie is owned by the famous Tour d'Argent which is close by. The specialties are cooked on the rotisserie and the food is perfect. Superb meats. Duck is outstanding perfectly cooked and a generous portion EU 62 for two. A bottle of Vacqueras Cote de Rhone EU 42 bottle for the Tour d'Argent was superb. Service is cheerful... More

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
