Authentic north indian food in Paris

Went with a Colleague from Delhi who confirmed the panneer dishes (cottage cheese) were close to being authentic. Price was slightly on the higher side but still good value for money considering the dishes were tasty and service was good. Couple of other Indian restaurants we visited in Paris only... read more

On a rain sodden night we descended on this restaurant mainly because it was just round the corner from our hotel, not a good recommendation in itself!! The interior is rather tacky/outdated and the owner has a rather belligerent manner in answer to queries raised. Our main course dishes lamb sagwalla/chicken madras lacked any sort of flavour intensity, nan bread... More

If you want to eat chicken that resembles a mashed up pink & blue looking brain then this is the place for you! I love Indian cuisine and this restaurant is an absolute disgrace and extremely offensive to the Indian culture! I had a chicken tikka starter (boneless) .. Supposed to be boneless anyway! I left a few pieces which... More

Authentic Indian food is hard to come by in France, and this gem tucked away on a little side street right near La Motte Picquet Grenelle and the Champ de Mars is worth seeking out if you're craving some spice in Paris. Open 7 days a week, with a warm welcome from the friendly owner, reasonably priced, clean restrooms, what's... More

I ate here with my boyfriend when visiting Paris. It was nicely decorated, compared to other Indian restaurants I had seen around Paris. The menu isn't very extensive (compared to Indian restaurants in England), but I think that is just restaurants in France in general. I was undecided about to go for but the waiter was more then helpful in... More

The food quality is good. The Naan is well made and the curry is tasty. We enjoyed the food. The service was iffy at best. The owner has a weird sense of carrying a conversation. We entered at a busy time and so he asks if we are ready to order take out. Well no - we would like to... More

This place is pretty close to the Eiffel Tower and we stumbled across it while walking in the area. Missing Indian food we decided to go in and try the place. We were welcomed very warmly. I needed a drink and asked for a Vodka with club soda. The owner looked at me like I was crazy. His words, "why... More

After visiting the Eiffel Tower we had a look at what to eat and decided on here. We were greeted by the owner and started to read the menu. The owner kept coming over to talk about the restaurant, no one else was there, so I guess he was bored? We managed to decide. He went away for a while... More

we are vegetarian and tried a few Indian restaurants in Paris. The food here tasted great but had somewhat small portions. Service was awkward and disjointed but the food made it worth it.
