Good Italian

I'm brazilian, and was traveling along with newbies, also brazilian. Good food, classically of trattorias, in large portions. Gentle service. If, like most brazilians (and, I think, americans too) your are more in the mood of italian than french food, it's a very good option.

I had checked for restaurants near my hotel in Paris and chuckled at the idea of an Italian restaurant in Paris. I LOVED it!! Superb service, excellent food, and the only strong recommendation I can make for food in Paris!! I found this place easily from my hotel and ate there my last two nights in the city. I felt... We ate here once but we were not impressed. Hideously stark lighting makes you feel like you're being watched by the waiters who stand in a line by the bar facing the tables. Not very welcoming. Food ok but nothing special. Pasta was overcooked and sauce bland. Wouldn't eat here again.

Excellent restaurant located close to Place de la Nation. The service has been absolutely perfect, and the food sublime. Unfortunately we only found this restaurant on our last evening in Paris, otherwise we'd had eaten there other times! Superb!

The staff speak French with heavy Italian accents. We chose the dish of the day--tender fish cooked in a yummy sauce of lemon and capers--fattest capers I've ever seen. Superb service and hospitality, a quiet unpretentious place. Tops.

I stumbled upon this place after realizing the place I intended to go was closed. If you are in the area, I would recommend at least one meal there. I had the filet au poivre, and it was good. The steak good have had more flavor, but the sauce and frites were both good. The best thing about the place... More

if you get sick of French cuisine (raw&bloody meat) in Paris and look for something mediterrenean (olive oily), it is the perfect place with delicious and cheap foods... We ate two times in our seven days...

We stayed in a nearby hotel, so we were looking for a restaurante and saw this italian gem! Italian waiters, no tourists, good price and good food. Excelent for dining after a long day sightseeing!

Nestled between the Seine, Bastille, and Père Lachaise lies a peaceful side of town where wide avenues and impressive buildings accompany green spaces and small parks. Landscaped havens are plentiful, from the Bercy Park to La Coulée Verte and most impressively the Bois de Vincennes, which even contains a medieval castle on its doorstep.
