We came to La Acacia for dinner the last night we were in Paris as the restaurant is well-reviewed and local to where we were staying in Ternes. It was early and the place was empty aside for a few locals drinking beer at the bar. We were seated upstairs in a quiet corner table and had a wonderful rustic... More

We came very late to that place. The boss was ready to close but offered to make us some big "plates" with meat, cheese. We ordered also Cognac. Authentic atmosphere, very friendly personal, very good and fresh food quality ! Next time again with pleasure !

My wife and I were in Paris for 4 nights earlier this month. We ended up eating here two of those nights. At first we thought it was a cheese shop, once we sat down and saw the food that others were ordering we were in heaven. Everything we ordered was great. It seemed as though most of their business... Was looking at the restaurants in the area on TA, and the stumbled upon this small cosy restaurant. Yes you may sit very close to everyone but for me that made the atmosphere! The manager or owner spoke little English but was very very helpful. The food was brilliant, lots of flavour and lots of garlic. The confit duck was... More

Stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, and glad I did before reading reviews. The food here was flavoursome, of good portions and generally delicious. Would highly recommend the braised pork belly casserole and the preserved duck with garlic potato gratin. They were so amazing!

Dinner or lunch at this restaurant is definitely an experience, both in food, drink and entertainment value. Frederick is a most entertaining host, who may greet you in a plaid shirt, blue jeans, white apron and a big smile. He is passionate about his food from his native Auvergne and wants you to educate your taste buds. Go ahead !... More

We stumbled across this restaurant, and I'm delighted we did!! In every way we had a perfect evening. Full of French diners bar us and one later American couple. Nothing was too much trouble - although my French was brushed aside!! The owner Fred was lovely as were the 2 other waiters & we were treated like locals, being given... More

We were greeted by the cheerful chef/owner and instantly felt comfortable amongst the many locals dining there. Lunch, a homemade cassoulet, was terrific and as our hotel was nearby we returned for dinner later that day. Highly recommend this spot(that has been there for 20+ years) to anyone who wishes to have a normal meal prepared by a passionate chef.

We bought a set menu from Ideal Gourmet (great French website for booking meals with wine that you pay for in advance before you leave the country, thereby avoiding any nasty suprises). We had three courses a glass of kir to start, water, a bottle of wine and coffee for E40 each, however as it was the end of our... More
