Delicious food, not great service

After a busy day out in Paris, we stopped here on the way back to our hotel. It is a quaint neighborhood restaurant. We were seated without a reservations, but this did not seem to be a problem. Just after our party of six were seated and the menu explained, a couple came in and received top... read more

We had a wonderful dining experience at "La Table de Julie" (near our hotel and not far from the "Nation" métro) with friends of ours in Paris. Starting with their special "house" drink (somewhat like a peach kir, if I recall), we then ordered our meals which are best described as delicious French "comfort food" - out of this world!... We went with our family. It was a very tasty evening. A small family restaurant . The owner runs the place. We enjoyed it so much.

Came here at the recommendation of some of the members of our tour group and we weren't disappointed. Their prix fix menu offered many wonderful choices as did their a la carte menu. Food was delicious and artfully prepared. The owner and her daughter were extremely hospitable and made everyone at the restaurant feel welcome. Wish we were in Paris... More

This is our second visit here, and once again were very pleased. This is a big gourmet step above the other local bistrots in this very up touristy neighbourhood. The 30% discount offered through La Fourchette has always been accepted cheerfully.

Food quality is good to very good but we were disappointed: we booked through a service where the restaurant promised a discount we felt we didn't get. The decor is "cafe average." There are lots of other places to choose from in this neighborhood.
