Sold all over isle St. Louis, you will see people standing in line and walking all around holding their cornets (cones) with combinations of berthillon's glances and sorbets

Amazing sorbet, what a wonderful range of flavours and beautifully presented. We we able to sit down and rest some very weary legs which was very welcome, although there is also takeaway.

There's always a line, but it's worth the wait. Lots of flavor story choose from. They close in August.

Best ice cream I've ever had. Incredibly creamy and the flavors were amazingly intense. I don't usually order vanilla but the vanilla here was so rich and the vanilla flavor so intense that I'm glad I did. The caramel was also delicious. Definitely worth stopping at even if there is a line.

We arrived Saturday morning about 10.30 no queues at all! Ice cream was very good, don't be surprised though at 1 scoop being quite small... I needed 2!

Worth the wait in line for this ice cream. The deep, dark, semi-sweet chocolate is wonderful. Very different flavors, lovely area, great place to stroll. Be sure to try it when you are in Paris !

These French - what is it with them and August holidays? Paris is teeming with visitors all desperate to try the best ice cream in the city and what does Berthillon do? Shut up shop and go on holiday for most of August. I just don't get it. Bur fortunately for us ice cream hungry visitors, there are two local... More

The ice cream was delicious but we found out that the same ice cream is served at several walk up cafe locations on Ile St Louis and doesn't require standing in the long crazy tourist line. The actual location does carry more flavors but may not always be worth the wait. The girls behind the counter are typical teenagers. It's... More

We usually make this as one of our stops each time we visit Paris. Typically, it's ice cream for lunch, so rich, creamy and delicious. Try the not-so-ordinary flavors like: Chestnut, out of this world. St Louis en L'lle is worth the stroll, very charming with boutiques and eateries, but Berthillon is the place to visit. Never disappointed.
