Don't miss Berthillon - an amazing treat. Almost every restaurant advertises that they serve Berthillon ice cream. Not sure if there is a difference. I recommend going directly to the source. The dark chocolate is awesome. Recently we had dark chocolate/red currant and chocolate/cherry. Both combinations were fabulous. I wish I could have tried them all. more

I was at first disappointed with the small amount and the huge price, but I quickly forgot about that as I tasted the chocolat noir at Berthillon on Ile St. Louis. Worth the trip! There is no outdoor seating, but it is open-air. We did take-out and ate on the Quai-bourbon. there are so many patisseries nearby you should only get some ice cream and then go to one of those places for a beautiful confection and share. Berthillon is absolutely cliche and for good reason, it just feels so french! more

I went to Paris twice and I always try to stop there to try a new flavour...I am comming back there on vacations and want to spend whole afternoon eating Berthillon icecream. I never found anything better than this place to have a good icecream... more
