Yummy!

This place is heavenly! I have been here four times & still can't get enough. So far I have had six flavours! My favourite one is 60 ano which is created for their sixty years anniversary. We leave Paris in three days I'm sure I can go one more time there:-)

My husband's favorite thing in life is ice cream, and so we make a point of trying our fair share whenever we travel. Berthillon was such a delight that we visited twice, the second time bringing my parents with us (my dad has quite the sweet tooth as well). For being totally swamped all the time, the staff was very... More

We went there on a sunny afternoon, the sorbet and ice cream were the perfect treat! Very tasty! Just take what you want and find yourself a spot under the sun!

Must taste the famous ice cream by Berthillon. They have a myriad of flavors that are not to be missed. Served in many different places in Paris, it will not be hard to find one.

Best ice cream bar none!! Worth the line ups. You can get their ice cream readily through out Paris but you must go to the actual store and try the wild strawberry (seasonal) ice cream or salted caramel. Fantastic. My family and I still dream of this ice cream.

Berthillon has delicious ice cream. Don't be fooled be other impostors on the street. Go to Berthillon. Even better than getting a cone to go and walking along the Parisian streets or the Seine is to spend some time indulging your taste buds in the tea room. My favorite is to order a chocolat chaud (hot chocolate) and a dish... More

One scoop was just enough for an afternoon snack! The ice cream was delicious - I recommend the pralines-pignons! My parents had the chocolate and vanilla, and equally raved about those flavors as well.

Waited for 1/2 hour for what was the best ice cream i have ever tasted. Get 2 because the servings are very small. No way to get a seat inside. so just walk around and enjoy. So many little shops and friendly people around

Staying in Ile de la Cite / Ile Saint-Louis

Neighborhood Profile
Ile de la Cite / Ile Saint-Louis
Two islands sit in the middle of the Seine at the very heart of Paris. The more majestic one, Ile de la Cité, sparkles with history. This is the birthplace of Paris, the home of the Gothic Sainte-Chapelle, and the site of the prison where Marie Antoinette was held before her execution. Tourists flock to see the iconic Notre Dame and the beautiful bridges that straddle the Seine. Ile Saint-Louis, the more provincial island, welcomes you with cozy traditional eateries, small boutiques, and what some people say is the best ice cream in the city. This is essential Paris from its very beginnings to its modern appeal.
