Some of the best food you will ever eat

I went there with my daughter, who is vegetarian. She loved the dish she had, a kind of vegetable gallette. I had planned to order one of meat/poultry/fish dishes they are famous for, but they had beef on special, and it was one of the best-tasting pieces of beef I have ever eaten. Not because of... read more

My husband and I went here on our first night in Paris to experience some authentic French cuisine. The place is truly fantastic! My husband said the lamb he had was the best he has ever had and the duck with beetroot coulis and strawberries was also wonderful! We tried the poached egg and the terrine of chicken for entree... Though busy, received great attentive service along with wonderfully authentic food. Enjoyed equally by local and tourist alike, I'm happy to recommend this great value bistro.

When I have an “issue” in a Bistro, I expect the waiter/maître d’/chef/owner to (1) listen, (2) possibly express empathy, (3) offer to fix the situation, and, (4) possibly apologize – not Argue. My waitress (who did not indicate that there were some daily specials) recommended that I have the pork (on the menu) as my Plat. I had at... More

The restaurant was recommended to us by a friend of a friend (Who lives in Paris). Out of all of the restaurants we visited whilst in Paris this became our favourite, immediately. The moment we walked through the door we were greeted by very friendly waiting staff. The food was delicious and the prices weren't OTT by any means. The... More

Frankly we chose this restaurant because it was close to our hotel but it always seemed busy and had a great atmosphere. After two failures we finally got a booking here for our last night in Paris ..and it was worth the wait. The quality of the food as excellent, well cooked and delightfully presented and not too much. An... More

Every course we had was perfect. The best fish, the best roasted lamb, the best desserts (the pear). Additionally, the service was amazing (even in English) and the atmosphere was great. Very recommended.

We found this restaurant online during our search for an authentic Parisian place for our last night in Paris. The restaurant features local or organic ingredients, and prides itself on using locally-sourced products when possible. The restaurant was a short walk from our hotel (near Gare de Lyon), and we had a terrific meal. We had the foie gras and... More

We were given an excellent table with our reservation, very comfy banquet seating that was private and with a lovely view of the amazing street scene mural. The chorizo starter was excellent, light and buttery, almost melt in the mouth. My main course was one of the top priced dishes, and I had high expectations, but it didn't quite hit... More
