Outstanding!

We booked this place for our 1 year wedding anniversary based upon what we read online. I am very pleased we did. We have had the pleasure of dining here 3 times. Our Parisian pals introduced us to this VERY HAPPENING resto in the 12th. It is across from a wine bar but (shhhhh) it is ALSO walking distance from Le Baron Rouge. This is NOT a tourist place. It is simply humming with happy Parisians drinking great wine and eating great... More

L'Ebauchoir is one of those real finds in Paris. Off the main area, but so worth getting to. The outside seating is terrific as the neighborhood has lots going on. And the restaurant has a Wine Bar across the street - always great to hang and wait for your meal. And it was one of our best meals in Paris.... More

Menu in English. All staff speak English perfectly. Clean and crowded place. Quick service. My recommendation is to make a reservation. Very friendly and polite staff. Try deer, it's their specialty.

A decent restaurant with good food and service. We enjoyed the whole dinner very much but the starters were especially superb. We had ordered three starters and they were all delicious. Every mouthful was a delight. Foie gras poilé and fresh goat cheese were our favourites. The service was good with attentive, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend this... Beautiful, seasonal food. Friendly and laid-back service. Lovely wines for every budget. The mashed potato with black truffle is a special treat. Wonderful date restaurant.

We visited l'Ebauchoir twice in April 2014, both times for dinner. We shared oysters from Bretagne and wine, then she had risotto in mushroom sauce with sweet potatoes, eggplant and zucchini; I had a white fish in a parsley sauce with tiny pommes de terres. We finished off with a cheese plate and white wine; the waitress helped us choose... More

Great atmosphere, always packed, but even without a reservation we only waited ten minutes for a table for two on a Monday evening. Small choice of carefully selected dishes makes my wife and I come back every year for a truely superb bistro dinner. We both had foie gras poilé for first course again, and we strongly recommend it. Two... More

Really good ingrédients, cooking and presentation - what I could produce on one of my best days! Welcome when booking, on arrival, when being served and on departing irreproachable. Never miss it when in Paris. Recommended without reserve. Bravo. The English guy from Metz.
