Good French food

Good french cousine. Good service. English speaking waiters. Clear menu. Took average onion soup and above average flank steak - could recommend. If you would like to have some french food: good choice.

I just had coffee here. This place has good ambience and service. The service staff could speak English and was friendly.

I've come here a number of times over the years and although a bit pricey, the food and drink selection is pretty good and you are able to sit outside without being right next to the road, unlike most the cafes and restaurants in Fontainebleau. This experience was both amusing and gross at the same time! We came here with... More

Again, I´ve eaten in their terrace and inside on the top floor with a very big group. The service was slow at the beginning but thei picked it up real quick and just have great things to say about them. I had the oysters (which were huge and tasty) and for second I had the rack of lamb which was... More

Had dinner and lunch here recently. Loved the authentic French atmosphere. Food was a delight and seemed very freshly cooked.Excellent choice of wines by the glass too. Service very professional. The best croque Monsieur I have ever had? Give it a try.

We were staying in the hotel next door and decided on a typical 'french' breakfast. Our hotel was next door and so we selected it for location as much as anything. Yes the service was slow, we were not in a hurry, so was no big deal for us. We had baguette and coffee which was served with an excellent... More

Taking advantage of its superb location, this place shows everything that for years used to be bad for tourists in France but fortunately has changed a lot in the meantime. Rude and slow service as a complement for quite average and overpriced food - who needs it?

I joined 2 ladies for brunch and cafe's one morning with our 4 children. The food was expensive for what you get, (8 euros for a small crepe with and egg) and could've had the same quality at Carrefour. But the part that is most shocking to me is when our baby started crying (for no more than 1-2 minutes),the... More

The place itself is nice, but mainly due to the location - if you do not mind to sit extremely crowded. I can not say anything about the food but the drinks are OK (well it is hard to mess up a water or a beer). What is horrible is the service. It was so slow that I was wondering... More

Whatever your reason is for being in Fontainebleau this is a very good choice for a casual meal. If you're there to visit the chateau, this is about as convenient as it gets. It's right across the street from the chateau and very near the stops for the bus to and from the train station. The food is good. The... More
