As busy as it was, service for us moved smoothly with a nice server.

Visited Le Délice Impérial on a winter Sunday after a day trip to Château de Fontainebleau. The weather was cold but decent overall and there were lots of people outside and inside the place. There was a line for inside tables but we had one in 10 minutes for my wife and son (18 months in a... read more

Hi. I have just had a terrible experience in Au Délice Impérial. Yesterday I went in to buy 6 chocolate macarons which cost a small fortune but the bakery in rue des sablobs is closed... when I opened the box last night I foubd 6 raspberry macarons which neither my daughter nor I eat. I took them back this morning.... More

Stopped for morning coffee before the Chateau. Got hungry after walking the grounds, so went back for salad / snack lunch. After all the visiting, went back for tea and cakes. Sat outside. Friendly staff who did not correct our French, quite quick service for France(!) and tasty fresh food - interesting touches too such as beansprouts in a seafood... More

Our fears that this "tea room" would be an overpriced tourist trap since it was so close to the Chateau were quickly proven false. The prices were better than what we found in Paris, and our lunches were excellent. The place was packed in mid-afternoon, and the service was cheerful but a little slow. We had two different waitresses attending... More

We were seated and served very fast. The food was wonderful (we each chose a salad and then a dessert). It was a wonderful meal and we'll certainly return if we ever go back to Fontainebleau.

We stopped for breakfast here one morning with our 2 young children. The breakfast was ok, not great but not bad either. The kids liked the scrambled eggs, juice and hot chocolate with croissant. The only problem is the smell. The interior of the restaurant smells strongly of mildew (which is a kind of yucky urine smell). We would have... More

We stopped here for lunch after visiting the chateau. Overall the experience was fun the waiters were very patient with the girls trying to communicate. They seemed to realize i wasn't going to help and went along with it. The staff speaks very limited English, so if you don't speak French be ready to point at the menu.

Restaurant is very popular during the lunch hour and therefore quite busy. We were promptly seated and had good service, our sandwich.came with fries and salad. So it was just a basic lunch meal. I have read several comments on restaurants about rude and slow service which for the most part I consider unjustified. This is France and not the... More

My wife and I went to the restaurant on Mothers Day for lunch and sat in the outdoor seating area on the sidewalk. Typically, French atmosphere. Everything was good, the food, the waiter, but the desert was fantastic. We had the Plat du Jour with a desert. The desert was a strawberry tart of some kind which I don't know... More

This was a lovely little café with some very delicious Pátisserie. The service was very good and the waiters both spoke English without giving us the attitude of why didn't I speak French, thats Probably as I, was to busy learning Dutch, English and German as a child and listening to my patents argue in French that I only picked...
