Great atmosphere, lovely food

We sat outside, which was lovely, but (no fault of theirs) a nearby customer smoked throughout. We had a fish soup, then a duo of tagliatelle with huge prawns and scallops, and a gorgeous john dory with vanilla sauce. All lovely food, good service and lively atmosphere. It was very busy but we... read more

This restaurant is hidden down a laneway off the pedestrian shopping area. It has tables both inside and out, to suit all tastes. All of the meals are quite generously sized. The jambon with melon is a classic. The poisson soupe de la maison is smooth, full of flavour and has make-your-own croutons on the side. The steaks are cooked... More

This place is a real find and off the well beaten tourist track, frequented by local people. Definitely recommend the fish salad, consisting of prawns, shrimps, squid, as well as usual vegetable suspects. Excellent and well recommended!

We wanted a well recommended restaurant close to our hotel and were not disappointed with Da Mama. Across the street and down an alleyway da Mama provided a good quality meal for a reasonable price. The service was top notch, perhaps the best we experienced in southern France and Corsica and the portions were substantial. We made reservations which proved... More

The food was good, but not as good as rumours said. We bought the Corse meny, fine but not that fine. Nice staff.

Our hotel had recommended Da Mama and we were not disappointed. It is an old, historic building located in a passage off the pedestrian zone. Since it was cool we ate inside where it was very comfortable. Staff were efficient and very helpful. A number of the tables were filled with locals but everyone was treated like a regular. The... We were so tired and on a Sunday many places are closed so having read the reviews we gave Da Mama a go. Not disappointed at all. This is slightly rustic food, not up market but good quality and well priced. My husband had the pork chop and I had the veal steak. The meat was very tender and the... More

This restaurant has very nice interior and exterior. It is placed between two streets, one of which is Corse Napoleon, and accessible through a narrow passage from both streets. In good weather they have a outdoor seating as well. They serve Corsican and Mediterranean dishes, either as a set menu or as a la carte. Prices were moderate. Their food... More

This busy restaurant has a lovely ambience. Staff pleasant and helpful. An extensive well priced menu with quality food. We choose seafood which was fresh and delicious. Servings are generous without being too large. Great value for money.

Been here a few times for lunch and dinner and never left disappointed. It is a bit secluded, and has outdoor seatings during summer; indoor seating is in a cozy, wood and stone high-ceiling room. The lunch prix fixe menu is a hit - always crowded - so come early. They have many options: 14, 17, 25 euros. All ingredients... More
