Hidden place with excellent food

This restaurant has very nice interior and exterior. It is placed between two streets, one of which is Corse Napoleon, and accessible through a narrow passage from both streets. In good weather they have a outdoor seating as well. They serve Corsican and Mediterranean dishes, either as a set menu... read more

Our hotel had recommended Da Mama and we were not disappointed. It is an old, historic building located in a passage off the pedestrian zone. Since it was cool we ate inside where it was very comfortable. Staff were efficient and very helpful. A number of the tables were filled with locals but everyone was treated like a regular. The... We were so tired and on a Sunday many places are closed so having read the reviews we gave Da Mama a go. Not disappointed at all. This is slightly rustic food, not up market but good quality and well priced. My husband had the pork chop and I had the veal steak. The meat was very tender and the... More

This busy restaurant has a lovely ambience. Staff pleasant and helpful. An extensive well priced menu with quality food. We choose seafood which was fresh and delicious. Servings are generous without being too large. Great value for money.

Been here a few times for lunch and dinner and never left disappointed. It is a bit secluded, and has outdoor seatings during summer; indoor seating is in a cozy, wood and stone high-ceiling room. The lunch prix fixe menu is a hit - always crowded - so come early. They have many options: 14, 17, 25 euros. All ingredients... More

This was our last night and it was our best meal. Charming courtyard in the middle of Ajaccio however the approach alleyway is not the most appealing. We had the set menu and it was well presented, tasty and appealing. Service very attentive though it felt a little rushed. Recommended

A good choice of starters and mains. The Corsican wine on offer is not entirely up to today's European standards and tends to be expensive. But service was excellent and my wife raved over the creme brulee!

If you eat one meal out in Corsica then I would highly recommend this restaurant. It was recommended in our guide book and although hidden down a side street, their signage helped us find it. You can eat inside or out, we recommend outside as you are in a lovely little courtyard. Dining out in Corsica can be expensive but... More

We went as a group of 8 adults and I read many reviews of different places in Ajaccio but decided to try our luck here. it was cute, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was fine, I wouldn't rate it as best meal ever but we couldn't fault it, a lovely 3 course menu for €25 a... More

We discovered this lovely restuarant by accident walking through the town and were delighted that we did. The service was excellent and the quality and choice of food was very good. The duck and prawn main courses were both tasty and plentiful as was the salad starter which we shared. Definitely worth considering if you are in the centre of... More
