Real, traditional Corsican home cooking

We visited this placet during our 8 days long trip around Corsica, after our friend in Ajaccio recommended this place as a real, traditional Corsican restaurant. The interior made a huge impression on us - someone put a lot of effort into decorating it. When we asked about the menu, the waiter said... read more

We found this restaurant through our host in Ajaccio, 5 course dinner and I was almost full after second starter then you can imagine how much food we did waste!! We order a local wine and it was nothing special. If you have a good appetite to eat for 2 hours then it is a place for you to go.... More

We had a great time at this place. They looked after us well, made it easy to order etc. When I told them I was a vegetarian, they really looked after me and made sure I had some good food. Highly recommended.

We booked a table through our hotel and arrived in time to find out that in the middle of August and while the whole city of Ajaccio was sitting outside in the street restaurants enjoying the nice breeze, they gave us a table inside. I asked them in a very friendly way to give us a table outside and they... More

Other reviewers apparently liked this better than I did. I wasn't crazy about the "village" decor; it seemed gimmicky. I didn't like the very limited options, just two choices for appetizers and main courses. I didn't think the food was that good; big portions aren't what I'm looking for (though if you are it's a plus). I really didn't like... More

Realised this might simply be a tourist trap from online reviews but it's not! The interior is like a little social museum and the waiters were extremely helpful given our stilted French. You get fabulous bread, two choices of starter, secondi, main, dessert then coffee and grappa type liqueur for €38 pp. Portions are large and the food is 'homely'... More

We found this restaurant on Tripadvisor and were intrigued by the story behind it. It gets its name from the postcode the owner's family grew up in. Everything about it is like taking a trip back in time to a small Corsican village from the food (which are traditional family recipes, the water fountain which is apparently a replica of... More

Its difficult to choose the right restaurant in Ajaccio. There are so many. We chose Le 20123 as we wanted to try corsican food. Interior is interesting (you get your own water from the fountain) and when we came the restaurant was almost full. First dish was either charcuterie (meats) or soup. Both were good and plentfiful. Second dish was... More

Strolling around Ajaccio on our first night we stumbled upon this restaurant. Only places left were on the terrace: no problem, we had on our coats and soon enough the waiter turns on the heating as well. The menu is fixed: two rounds of starters, each with two choices, one of three meat dishes for main course, local cheese and... More
