My husband and I had both enjoyed the 3-course set menu for dinner, which was around 35 Euros. I had a lovely vegetable starter, chicken with tarragon sauce and then the grilled pineapple for dessert. All dishes were very well prepared, flavoursome and not too big. The only criticism is that the dishes came out too quickly, I would have... More

This is a small restaurant down a side street, it certainly doesn't look anything from the outside but inside is very nice particularly the rear patio where we sat. We had a set menu which was limited but suited our appetite. The food was very tasty and good quality. The service was carried out by a gentleman(owner) who was very... More

We went to this restaurant based on Trip Advisor reviews and recommendations from our hotel. It was just steps away from the Relais St Jean hotel in the walking district. It is in an old townhouse, so is quite small inside and has an even smaller courtyard outside. It is popular with both locals and tourists, so reserve ahead of... More

This restaurant is quite lost in a small medieval street of Troyes. It was recommended to us by locals. This is a funny place, which 5-6 tables inside, and a similar amount outside, in a patio at the back. The place is finely decorated and has a luxurious standing. Unfortunately we did not have the same experience as some of... More

We visited this Restaurant for the 3rd time. It is a small Restaurant with maybe 7-8 tables, plus during summer, a small garden with 7-8 more tables. The products is of highest quality, the menues are local specialities. The attention to detail is very high. You have to try it!

It is important to remember that nowadays more than half restaurant do not prepare the food themselves and serve dishes stemming from industrial préparations and limit their job to unfreeze meals. Here, this is a Professional restaurant with traditional quality meals, nicely served in a classical environment. It is better to reserve to be sure to have seats. A place... More

Very centrally located in Troyes, we had two classic 'old french cousine' meat dishes (one veal, one beef): good quality, attention to details, meat well cooked (the beed was perfectly pink), flavorful ingredients. The meal had actually started with an amuse-bouche (radish, beatrout, cucomber), delicate and inspiring. The restaurant has a rather distinctive very french ambience, it's mid-small sized, rather... We had dinner at Au Jardin Gourmand. The food was very good, as was the wine. The owner and waiter were very friendly and helpful and translating parts of the menu if required. The owner also made a good wine recommendation. We were served an 'amuse bouche' of beetroot mouse topped with radish. Starters were very good, as was the... More

Dined here on Saturday evening in August. We were sat in inside the restaurant so never saw the 'jardin'. Food OK, but not the gourmet experience the name might suggest. The service started good, especially from the two young members of staff. The front of house head waiter was less impressive. But once the place became busy the service became... More
