This is a rare case of an expensive restaurant that offers a very inexpensive, amazingly good value formule every night (including Saturday). We both had the €19 formule and absolutely cannot figure out how they can afford to give such extraordinarily high quality food and drink for so little. Two amuse bouches (puff pastry canapés, followed by a shot glass... More

We have visited Troyes many times and tried out quite a few of the restaurants which we have always found to be good, but this was without doubt the best meal we have ever had. It is not a cheap place but the food was fabulous and made a memorable start to our summer as we drove down through France.... More

Lovely courtyard setting on a warm summer evening. Slightly disappointed by the service as we were really looking forward to our aperitif glasses of champagne - particularly as it was our first night in the champagne region - unfortunately they never arrived and by the time our starters were delivered the moment had passed. The food was good but prices... More

Of course, it is a little more expensive than the average, BUT ... this is absolute top quality ... food and wines are excellent ... and the service is nice. Don't miss it when you around

Had lunch here with my wife and 2-year-old. I had been once before with a large conference group and liked it well enough to come back. The lunch was really good food. I had veal. It was a tough cut but the sauce was excellent. My 2-year-old has many food allergies so rather than risk faster (often pre-prepared) food, we... More

We spent a lovely evening at Mignardise. The service, the food , were delicious and very reasonably priced. Lovely location at the very end of a very narrow medieval street. Highly recommended.

The venue is unmatched down ruelle des Chats, and at lunchtime packed with local office workers tempted by (menu de jour) 3-course meal with 12dl of house wine which is cooked carefully, served attentively, with a great wine list and ample choice of ½ bottles and pitcher de vins. And all for 19€. Had lunch once and very tempted to... More

I was with a group of 20 pax in Troyes and had lunch in La Mignardise. The entrance of the restaurant is very inviting with lots of flowers on a sunny terrace. Inside the restaurant, there were a lot of fine artworks as a decoration, the room above, where the group had lunch, was not so cosy. The food was... More

The last time I wrote a critical review of a French restaurant I received a vituperative response from the chef/owner for daring to question his establishment. With this review I expect to be struck off the Christmas card list of another French restauranteur. So be it. First, the good news. The locale is, indeed, "mignardise" (small and charming) with quirky... More

Ok, lets be clear ,things have to be pretty bad before I leave a bad review but this time I have no difficulty. We asked our hotel in Troyes to find the best restaurant in town and make the booking for us. We arrived punctually and were told to go upstairs to an empty floor not taken or met, which... More
