In vino veritas.

Now tell me, what could be nicer than eating surrounded by full bottles while the one in front of you is slowly emptying into your glass? It was recommended to us when we asked for a local place to have lunch. Located in a wine store (yes really!) it is charming. Great wines with fresh, creative food. We had cheese and meat boards and snacked our way through lunch. YUM!

The place is really nice and friendly, but for people like me who don't really like meat, it's hard to have a whole dinner there. But, you still can have all sorts of good wines !

This establishment is a wine store, a wine bar and restaurant. The food is plain and wholesome, the wine list eccentric. We opted for wines by the glass and all the names were mysterious and we needed some help from the waiter who was helpful and his advice was good. So we enjoyed both the food and wine.

We just passed by on our way back to our hotel after a cold beer or two and liked the look of the place. It was a great experience and great food. We chose our wine not from a list but after a discussion and suggestions from our waiter.

This place will transport your senses. The restaurant uses local products and turn it into original dishes. You might want to try the andouillette, typical from Troyes with the label AAAAA (ancestral recipe). The bread and the cheese are excellent, which will completely immerge you in the French culture. The service is social, polite and advises you wines according to... More

Went for dinner as it was recommended by fooding. Had a bottle of Champagne and 2 bottles of wine. The Champagne and bottle of St. Joesph were very good. The other bottle of wine was just so-so. Good was OK, nothing outstanding.

We turned up on a wet Tueday having seen the menu outside. Quite a lively wine bar, most of the tables were full. Service a little brusque but knowledgable (were were righlty warned off one of the wines as an accompaniment to our cheese course). The menu is short but interesting and good value. The list of wines by the... More

This rickety half-timbered building with wine-barrels outside, eclectic junkshop style furnishings and racks of bottles behind the bar is one of the more seductive looking eateries of Troyes. We thought it would be just the place for a memorable last evening in the city and memorable it was, but for all the wrong reasons. After a while a chalkboard menu... More

A great little wine bar. Lovely atmosphere, obviously fab wines and a knowledgable team to help you choose. We had the house champagne with some great cheese and meats. We also tried the main courses which were tasty but limited in choice and lacked any vegetables. However -Overall a great place if you fancy a glass of wine - a... More
