I ate lunch here whilst I was at Troyes. It was awful. The steak was dreadful, the green beans frozen. And i expect there are a lot of frozen products on the menu, even though they are not marked as such. The andouillette may be the only reason to eat here, apart from the lovely Art Deco dining room. Service... More

My wife ordered a brilliant meal- salmon cooked excellently. I had snails and then bream. Alas very ordinary. Service was impeccable, so maybe it was just down to a poor choice by me. Overall would probably recommend. My wife certainly would.

We were so looking forward to our meal here but it was very disappointing. I basically had steak and chips in fact all the meals came with chips from where I was sitting. The steak to a Kiwi was the sort of steak we have on a sandwich that was all it was good for. Price wise very expensive for... More

This feels like the real thing -- it is not as old as you think ! Very professional meet and greet and first class waiters ; good food backed by a good wine list both served quickly and without fuss. The room is good and feels right. Hard to fault and easy to find -- go for it !

We had a evening meal, the staff were very helpful, the menu was full of seasonal food. A very enjoyable evening, the staff could not do to much for us. We stayed in the Mercure and it was a 10 minute walk in the centre of Troyes.

Though I was promised, but didn't receive, a complimentary glass of champagne, I was impressed. This is a highly professional French restaurant in the heart of the ancient city of Troyes. Their sausages (5*) are the dish a la maison and the menu is moderately extensive and the wine list fully adequate for purpose. I had the asparagus cappuccino which... More

We had the lunchtime menu it was excellent. Great service in a lovely atmosphere. We were made to feel very welcome and the only English in the restaurant. It was full it seemed of local people who were used to a certain expectation, A nice way to celebrate a birthday and our last meal in France. .

The choice of restaurants in Troyes for dinner on Easter Sunday was limited so we decided to give this place a try and were pleasantly surprised. The staff were welcoming, the ambiance relaxed and the food very good. Yes, it's popular with tourists but also with locals which is usually a good sign.

We had an excellent lunch (suckling pig with dauphinois potatoes), service was so-so, but definitely worth a four on the tripadvisor rating scale. Based on our delicious lunch, we decided to go back for dinner the following day. Unfortunately, our dinner was terrible ( steak was so tough that it was impossible to cut), service was non-existent, and therefore we... More

Far from the best eating experience in Troyes. Perhaps because we were English tourists, they thought they could get away with duck which was overcooked, reheated or left under the lamp for too long. At least upon being invited to make comments, we were not charged for it.
