On our stop over on the way to the South of France with our two young daughters, we spent an overnight at the Ibis Hotel in Troyes (pronounced like the number 3 "troi" in French). They recommended a few restaurants including Le Bistroquet - for which they gave us a voucher for a free glass of champagne per adult. We... More

We dined here on a stopover in Troyes. We had previously eaten here several years ago and had a very good meal so thought we would return. It is located in a small squre just off the main shopping street. We had not reserved but were warmly greeted and showed to an outside table. We chose the set menu as... More

Three of us chose very different main courses and were delighted. My scallops with seafood sauce were beautifully cooked and the sauce delicious - light and tasty. My husband had great local rich andouilette, my son had tender, tasty great quality duck well cooked. My retro crepes suzette had tangy orange sauce and were flambéed in style at our table.... More

Everything about this restaurant is average, except the sole meunière, which was awful. Owner actually tried to tell us this was the correct way to prepare this dish. Was inedible. If everyplace else is closed, go here. Or perhaps skip dinner.

A little bit old fashioned brasserie, with a lot of local dishes.. Average food, quick service, not very expensive... So it was ok

“Bonne Andouillette” with chips – "Bonne" was not the word I would have used. Glad I went for the trio of sausage (2 of 3 very enjoyable). Fellow guest who had the full Anduillette commented "the most expensive plate of chips I've ever had". Other dishes excellent but the Andouillete is not for me. Check the Wikipedia description! Lovely restaurant... More

Was in Troyes for the weekend and we had lunch here. The service and food were good. I would go back and recommend this restaurant.

This bistro is the place you should go to if you want to eat andouilette which features prominently on the menu. Troyes (pronounced like 'trois') is famous for this type of sausage. These sausages are an acquired taste. We avoided them and went for the entrecote steak which was just OK but the frites were poor for French standards and... More
