Classic & Authentic French Bistro

Café Flo epitomises to me a typical French Bistro what with its elegant façade, high ceilinged dining room, linen table clothes and a penguin suited Maître D – and there is nothing wrong with any of this! It could have been very stuffy (and probably would have been had it been located in Paris... read more

It is perhaps not a good test of a restaurant when a party of over 20 is booked and descend on it except it is a test of its efficiency. We were expertly and efficiently dealt with by waiting staff and were not kept waiting. There were a variety of menus ranging from Pretsige €49.50 (4 courses) to a couple... More

We were a large group and nothing was bad everything seemed average. We ate dinner from the 3 course Flo Menu.(There were specials of the day also). Seems to me one should always dine from the more expensive (Prestige) menu available! The building is large and quite interesting, if dull.

We had a lovely meal here on a Sunday night. Shame they had no chateaubriand for my husband but his entrecote was cooked to perfection (their idea of medium rare is more the British idea of rare.. so keep this in mind). My monkfish with little ravioli was truly delicious. The service was excellent and the slightly faded grandeur ambience... More

One night in Reims and on a Sunday, impossible to find decent restaurants open. Brasserie Flo looked like the best of a bad bunch that were open on a Sunday and I had low expectations as part of a chain. However, we had a lovely evening, good food and went for simple French choices. The fixed menu was good value... More

The service was superb, however both my partner and I had prawn shells on the prawns we had for our entree and one of the pieces of salmon in the main was not scaled! This really ruined the dish and our complaint seemed lost in translation. We thought it was overpriced for our experience, but if we went again, I'm... More

Dined here last weekend and the atmosphere was very French bistro. Food was good and service was friendly. Can recommend the monk fish stew!

Enjoyed a lovely meal whist in Reims. Restaurants is centrally located. The inside is nicely decorated and the service was very friendly. The steak was delicious and would definitely recommend Brassiere Flo. Prices were fairly competitive.

Lovely restaurant with a very French feel to it. Large menu with an excellent array of food. There were 8 of us and they gave us a super circular table so we could all talk together. The staff were helpful although the language was a bit of a problem but they then gave us "English" menus which did help but... More

Not a massive menu to choose from but in some ways that is better, as not to make the choice too hard. We opted for the 28.50 menu with main and pud. The fillet of rump was cooked to our request perfectly and the pepper sauce was nice and peppery. well balanced with taste and creamy. the veg was nice... More
