A meal to be savored.

After drinking champagne in Champagne, I know that I will never buy or accept a glass of "champagne" outside of France. To say that our meal was superb is not hyperbole; Coquille St Jacques sitting below a delicate layer of shaved white truffle. Each bite was lovely, deeply, spiritually lovely. My... read more

Le Jardin is the more casual and fun bistro in the gardens of the beautiful (but formal) Les Crayeres, Michelin starred restaurant. I love Le Jardin because although it's more casual and friendly, the food is excellent and the atmosphere is fun.

The food was perfectly prepared and presented. Service was efficient, respectful of the chef's skill, but not precious or too formal. The wine list looked very interesting, although I can only vouch for the excellent champagne, which was all I drank on my (probably and regrettably) one and only visit.

We enjoyed foie gras, veal rib eye and sea bass in champagne sauce. The "garnishments" were actually very generous sides. Mine was French green beans and my husbands house potatoes with cheese. A little pricy but well worth it. The selections of wines and champagnes available were excellent!

We had a great lunch this summer, the food was great pure and full of flavour. Not pretentious but refined with a perfect balance of different flavours.

Very good (value) provided you stay on the set menu. When you go off the set menu a main course sets you back €30-32 ....and those prices are not warranted; not by the standard of cooking ...and not by the service (the place was understaffed and waiters were running around as if it was a cheap canteen). That said the... More

This restaurant is on the most beautiful grounds. We walked here after visiting Tattinger and it is only a 5 minute walk or so. When we arrived one of the chefs was in the garden in front picking herbs for the lunch service. They have amazing bread and delicious soups. We really enjoyed all of our food and wine and... More

Unexpectedly hip and locally popular, we were delighted to dine two nights at Le Jardin Brasserie during our stay at the very elegant Les Crayeres. As we were traveling through France on trains, we determined that we would eat at the hotels where we stayed. This separate building on the grounds of the chateau housed Le Jardin, just a 5... More

We had a nice lunch. We had the daily special menu. It was a little overpriced for what we got. Great champaign. Very pretty garden and they used fresh herbs from the garden.

Very welcoming. Reservations essential. Watched people without turned away at lunch. Tried a very rich wild boar stew, sea bass, chicken amongst us. Nice sauces without being over powering. Started with mushroom and pumpkin soups. Service spotty with a very full restaurant, but just didn't matter, just wonderful to be there. Enough English spoken to enjoy a casual luncheon. Plenty...
