I am an ITALIAN exchange student in reims and as an Italian I am kind of expert about cooking! Food is really good and as for the price I think it is honest! The part I TRULY love is the service! The female waitress is maybe one of the few person speaking English in the city and she is friendly... More

We last went to the Grand Cafe 15 years ago- and we were delighted to see that it hasn't changed! The food is sublime- go for the Moules Champenoise and your taste buds will be blown away! This is French food at its very best- fresh ingredients and a great combination of flavours cooked to perfection. The service is fantastic-... More

This restaurant was very nice but had a tiny bit of American MTV too loud. A lot of restaurants all over France seem to so this in the cities. This was the only place in two weeks that the waiter seemed like he could care less about anything. That shouldn't take away from the food there but he did take... More

Salad appeared to have been prepared hours before being served, it arrived at my table minutes after ordering. Salmon arrived dry and over cooked. Service was non-attentive and un-interested. The only time I met the host was when he came to confirm my room number in the hotel. He never asked about the meal or service.

The menu had English translations, but not quite enough for a gluten intolerant customer! I ordered the fillet mignon du porc with some sort of sauce from under the 'plate' menu and it came as a pasta dish. It was absolutely delicious but I shouldn't have eaten it. There was no reference to it being a pasta dish on the... More

We had the three course meal which at 22 euros was a real bargain. I had goats cheese and my partner foie gras for starters, both delicious although the english style sliced bread was a bit disappointing. The beef pave and salmon and cod were excellent as were the wine and coup(s!) de champagne. A very pleasant evening.

A balance of satisfactory food and reasonable price makes this a good bet for an early morning bite to eat or an evening meal. There are certainly more pricey places. The food we had was fairly plain, but reasonable and staff were willing to please. Some dirty cutlery was replaced swiftly with good apology and I saw the waitress feeding this... More

A nice location with good outdoor seating. We chose from the fixed price menu (midrange). Food was good. Wine was good. Excellent value for money. All diners seemed happy. An excellent crème brule.

Went for a family meal and chose from the special €18.50 set menu which was three courses plus a drink. The food was absolutely delicious and I couldn't fault it at all. Our family all ordered different dishes and each of us enjoyed every starter, main course and dessert and we were all really pleasantly surprised at how good the... More

Very busy evening meant service was very slow. This did give us time to enjoy eating outside though and watching Reims on a busy Saturday evening. Food was ok but a little over priced.
