We 've choosed Le Pre Champenois because of good reviews, but were really upset by the visit. 0) Lack of tables for two person - where were two opportunities: right on the passage or just near the bar. 1) Cheating with main dish: we've ordered and paid for the escalopes ris de veau, and were served with ragnon. (20 euro... More

Perfect ingredients, extraordinary execution, impeccable presentation - and a great selection of independent Champagne producers. Our favourite restaurant in the Champagne region.

We got a place for lunch without reservation, nice place, good service, the taste of the food is excellent, I would have liked a bit more, we got only one piece of bread.

We ate here earlier this week with a group of friends to celebrate my husband's birthday. It may have been because of the weather (cold, wet and windy) or the fact that France were playing a critical World Cup qualification match, but we were the only people in the restaurant! It certainly can't have been because of the quality of... More

A friendly welcome by English-speaking staff, and a coupe of champagne while studying a menu of not too many choices. After a complimentary shot of asparagus soup,I started with lobster ravioli - three large ravioli with delicately thin pasta, finely chopped vegetables, a Sauternes sauce, and large and delicious chunks of lobster. This is a dish I shall recall for... More

The restaurant is cozy and easy to find. The food was really well prepared and beautifully displayed. We ordered escargot as a starter...when in France. It was absolutely delicious, even my 5 year old tried it and liked it. The only reason I give it a 4 not a 5 is that my grandma joined us and her duck was... More

Very nice little restaurant close to the Town Hall. We had a tasty menu - foie gras and duck for myself, fish for my husband - and we were also served 2 delicious "amuses". The service was discreet though attentive.

Restaurant is located near to the city hall in Reims. It was very easy to get to this restaurant with the help of google map. My partner and I visited this restaurant in early Oct 2013. From the moment we entered the establishment, the service staff made us feel so welcome. As we do not speak French, we were served... More

The food itself was very good, but the service slow and a bit hectic. Difficult to get water and it took about 2 hours to get our mains. Lots of bread and amuse to fill the time though... The service really affected the whole evening, unfortunately.

We booked this restaurant based on the great reviews it already had and we were not disappointed. It was a very rainy night in Reims so the restaurant was very quiet but the service was still unobtrusive and attentive. Our French was not great, but the hostess was very accommodating with her English. The food was sensational - we had... More
