We came across La Vigneraie whilst strolling around our "stopover" hotel and it is a real find! We had the best meal of our trip to France and the service was excellent also. If you enjoy classic french cuisine in a pleasing environment and are prepared to pay for excellence, we strongly recommend a visit.

One of our tour guides recommended this restaurant for special occasions and we weren't disappointed. The tables are well spread out and it has a sophisticated French vibe rather than being modern. The menu is small but varied with lots of decadent and tasty options; this isn't the place to come if you're on a diet, but then again I... More

This delightful restaurant is located near the main centre of Reims. The decor is very pleasant. The atmosphere is nice and the food superb. Service was a little slow to start with but then picked up. It is not cheap but given the quality quite good value for money. The soufflé for desert was probably the best we have tasted.... More

The restaurant all revolves around wine - the best wines of the district, to accompany beautiful food. You're given a choice of different "menus" at different prices. So you might choose, say, the "menu elegante" (I'm inventing the name) at €40, which gives you a choice of A or B for the entree, C, D or E for the main... More

For years La Vigneraie has produced quality cuisine based on the most famous sparkling wine in the world. Lying in a quiet street off the pedestrian heart of Reims, the restaurant has a busy ground floor and two private dining rooms above. For a Saturday dinner, the fixed price 47.50 euros menu was chosen; there are other fixed price ones... More

The setting here is a bit elegant but our 'dress casual' approach worked well. Even businessmen wearing suits had open shirt collars. Menus are available at different price points: we opted for the 50 Euro and the 70 Euro menus, plus beverages. My wife began with fresh spears of asparagus in a fine, light mousseline sauce and moved on to... More

Six of us ate here on a Saturday night - we had booked by email - and the place was full. We had the Menu Prestige at 60+ euros which was amazing. All 5 courses were delicious, beautifully presented and just the right size. The meal did take a long time with long pauses between courses - we did feel... More

The meal was lukewarm. The chicken was rare. Service was slow and the waiter was pushy. He tried to sell us the restaurant.

Quality off the food is very good ! Service is correct and "on time" ! Prices on the expensive side ! A glass of champagne at 11 € is too much in our opinion. Setting is classic/refined.
