Ok, but rather dull...

So glad we found this place after our tasting at Tattinger. Had the duck pate and pork with Carmel sauce which were excellent! I would recommend his family restaurant if you want home cooked French food.

Maybe you remember the days when cosy, unassuming restaurants offering fantastic value seemed to beckon on every other corner and in every tiny hamlet in France? Times have changed, but our romantic memories live on and, if you are like me, you still keep looking. Well, this little family-run establishment in an as-yet unfashionable part of town is a defiant... More

Definitely not a fashionable place, this small restaurant is very traditional, that kind of place with no ranting name that you may find in every town but where you need the luck to enter by chance or to receive the right suggestion to visit. Good food, everything home made and with fresh ingredients (therefore the menu changes daily - and... More

Away from the tourist trap, this was a great find. The traditional menu was presented by the helpful waitress who ensured that we understood it all. The wine was perfect. Nice atmosphere. Must return.

This is an amazing little restaurant outside of the city centre with authentic french cuisine that is to die for. The food is such a pleasure to taste, and even better, the price is quite reasonable. Dinner for two with wine was less than 50 euros (including tip). The first time we went was for dinner. I had a fantastic... More

We found this resturant by accident, as we were early for a booked champagne tour. It's a lovely little unpretentious place, that is clearly a family run establishment. The duck was so amazing, that we returned the next day to have the same again (well, similar dish which was just as nice, as the menu changed depending on the fresh... More

We happened upon Au Plat du Jour by chance - and how fortunate for us. We were a large crowd - hot and hungry - and the waitress attended to us in a wonderful manner. She brought us drinks, a fan, and a great/interesting meal. We highly recommend this restaurant with a great family feel. Great food and service. Would... More

First - note that the website connected to this trip advisor page is NOT the website for this restaurant. I tried to point this out to the owner, but I speak no French and her English is minimal. I think she understood, but do not be mislead to the wrong place. Dining at this restaurant 3 nights in a row... More
