Excellent food!

An excellent meal indeed! We had a set three course dinner, but chose different things to eat from this menu. We had the "gaspacho des betteraves" and joue de bœuf braise" for starters, so a cold and a warm starter, but as a pleasant surprise all guests were given an extra little starter as... read more

Unfortunately, as with many restaurants in Epernay, this one fails to live up to expectations. The restaurant itself is pleasant and looks well cared for but the food is just nothing special and too expensive for very bland, boring dishes. Wouldn't return.

We both opted for the menu du chef, 5 courses of local specialities paced wonderfully so the focus was on the food, the taste and the whole experience of a good meal. What a splendid assortment. The amuses bouche to start was sublime, flavours of pea, mint and goats cheese, shrimp, tomatoes and balsamic in a melt in the mouth... More

This is a charming, well run, top end restaurant. The Belgian chef is an experienced master. He has a small but very good menu. The wine list is similar. Service very attentive. Well worth a visit. 3 courses about 50UKP per head

We went to this restaurant for dinner on our first night in Epernay. We went on recommendation of our hosts and were pleasantly surprised. We selected the chefs menu at €51. It was a four course menu in the classic French style, comprising a first course of foie gras, a second course of scallops and a third course of pheasant.... More

Having been in France for 3 weeks at 2 very touristy places, Deauville & Paris, it is wonderful to come to Epernay to few tourists and for the first time a restaurant with big tables and plenty of room for staff to get around. The food was second to none, pork cutlet that rates well with anything from Australia, wonderful... More

This restaurant is in a lovely building opposite the theatre. It is spacious and with a good choice of reasonably priced set menus. My husband and I both had the duck breast for the main course which was beautifully cooked. We treated ourselve4s to a dessert and there was a delicious choice. I had the crème brulee which was creamy... More

On advice from our lodge, we reserve for a diner. The food was very good but the service was very dry. The diner room is noisy.

The owner of the restaurant is a well known, and very good, Belgian chef and the food and menu is proof of this. Food was very good and a very good selection of wine and champagne was on offer. We requested some advice on selecting a bottle of champagne that would compliment the menu and different to the norm, we... More
