Cozy place for cheese lovers

Went here during the 'off season' (early Jan) and found this charming little place busy with locals. Good 'local' wine list with a varied selection of cheese-themed dishes (gratins, cheeseboards, etc.) in a warm and cosy dining space. We had a good meal of sausage fondue and salad. The restaurant is in an area of Tours with many small eateries and bars. Good for a quick inexpensive meal - not exceptional French food but not bad.

Food was good, basically all the entrees have cheese in them, but very yummy. Overall would definitely recommend, but not out of this world special.

My daughter and I had 3 hours in Tours waiting for a train and had found this on Tripadvisor. We went for an early lunch and were no disappointed. We had the 'complete menu' - she having 2 courses and I having 3. They are known for their cheeses and have a separate cheese shop across the street. My daughter... More

We ate the restaurant/cheese bar across the street (Rue Colbert) from the wine bar of the same ownership. We arrived late in the evening, but they were able to accommodate us at 9:30pm. We shared superb cheese and charcuterie platters as well as salads and other relatively small plates. The wine selection (Loire Valley mostly) was good and the service... More

Although at a first glance the menu seems a little monotone (cheese in every dish) it offers options for everyone. The dishes are delicious, the service is very good, the prices are pretty reasonable for the value one gets, and I personally liked the staff: it is friendly and fun. Not everything is perfect: the choice on dessert and wine... More
