Cozy restaurant in the old village

Nice to have a lunch at a spacey terrace. Even it is in the old town area, but very quiet. Delicious food and a nice selected wine list. Service is nice too. We selected a la carte and so it was a bit expensive, i found.

I've been to Tours on a number of occasions and I always go to this restaurant. This trip, I went twice with a group of eight. The little outdoor courtyard is quiet and comfortable being slightly off a main street. The coquille Saint-Jaques was memorable, as were the tiger prawns. Others in my group raved about the king pork and... More

David was an exceptional host as his suggestions on pairing wine with our food was right on. The food was excellent and the staff very attentive. The veal chop was better than any prime rib I have ever had, and the scallops were delicious. The outside dinning was beautiful in a small courtyard and the inside was contemporary and cozy.

Recommend for lunch especially as the price is good and the food is the same as in the evening. It was probably one of the best meals I've had in Tours and would recommend it highly. The service was excellent as well!

This is a fantastic restaurant. The interior is modern yet cozy, and the staff is very friendly. I loved the Noix de Saint-Jacques Laquees a la Creme Balsamique Arome Truffe and the Medaillon de Cochon. The desserts are also memorable. Especially the Panna Cotta and the Mousse Au Chocolat Blanc. I'm going back to Tours in August and will definitely... More

this was an exceptional dinner where the host had limited English but did his best to explain his dishes and we understood and absolutely loved what we had to eat. the service was excellent and efficient! The restaurant maintained the level of hospitality we had come to expect from Tours! Exceptional!

Every time I travel to Tours, I stop by this restaurant with my colleagues. I strongly suggest the Cote de Veau, truly amazing. Deserts are also excellent. The owner(s) are great, the atmosphere is nice. If you walk by place plumereau, make sure you stop by this restaurant, especially summer time so you can sit outside and enjoy the weather... More

Unfortunately I did not get to eat as this Restaurant, I was with my son, and he was looking for a something different that they did not have on the menu, but being typical Americans we do not having any French skills. I am sorry but I do not know the gentlemen's name, but I poked my head in the... More

When we arrived, it appeared that the restaurant had mislaid our reservation, and, although we were seated immediately, it took ages before we were even given a menu. There was a similarly long wait before our order was taken, although we were able to amuse ourselves by watching the antics of the gregarious waiter, who appears to see himself as... More
