Every time I travel to Tours, I stop by this restaurant with my colleagues. I strongly suggest the Cote de Veau, truly amazing. Deserts are also excellent. The owner(s) are great, the atmosphere is nice. If you walk by place plumereau, make sure you stop by this restaurant, especially summer time so you can sit outside and enjoy the weather... More

Really a absolutely nice and cozy restaurant in the historic city center. Great food, excellent wines and a funny and really friendly stuff. We'd a really good time there.

Nice to have a lunch at a spacey terrace. Even it is in the old town area, but very quiet. Delicious food and a nice selected wine list. Service is nice too. We selected a la carte and so it was a bit expensive, i found.

Unfortunately I did not get to eat as this Restaurant, I was with my son, and he was looking for a something different that they did not have on the menu, but being typical Americans we do not having any French skills. I am sorry but I do not know the gentlemen's name, but I poked my head in the... More

When we arrived, it appeared that the restaurant had mislaid our reservation, and, although we were seated immediately, it took ages before we were even given a menu. There was a similarly long wait before our order was taken, although we were able to amuse ourselves by watching the antics of the gregarious waiter, who appears to see himself as... More

we tried the restaurant the evening that we arrived in Tours. our only disappointment is that we didn't eat every meal in this restaurant during our stay. friendly service, nice ambiance, and the food from the kitchen what you would expect when you travel to france. Tours seems to be full of touristic restaurants offering bad food.....this restaurant was definately... More

Nicely surprised by the very efficient but relaxed service. I was alone, but have been given time to see what I liked and never felt pressed, although the place was crowded. Food was nice and special both in the make and in the presentation. And it is open on Monday nights!

The restaurant was filled when we arrived, but there was seating in the adjacent courtyard. There was a nip in the air the electric heaters helped mitigate, but the breeze was a tad biting. Blankets helped ward off the chill. There was nothing else negative. The food was wonderful, the dessert scrumptious, the staff courteous and efficient. Despite Ian S's... More

We booked a table for dinner at lunchtime with no problems. Yet by time we finished our dinner the restaurant was full, so booking might be advisable. We had a very nice meal, with impeccable service. Just one thing, they do not take credit cards! Make sure you have cash!
