My previous experience at this restaurant was not the best but based on the reviews I read, I decided to give a second chance, and I didn't regret. Customer friendly with valid suggestions for those who have not mastered the compositions and names of the dishes ... but very well made-up, tasty and quality. Recommend and surely repeat!

Our group of 8 included 2 vegans who were cheerfully accommodated. Also great beef, fish, and foie gras. The presentation was unique and creative, everyone in our group thought it was one of their best and most memorable meals ever. We we're served by the owner (spoke English), who recommended very nice wines, not too expensive.

We returned to this little restaurant for dinner last Saturday, having previously had an enjoyable lunch there. The 31€ 3 course menu is short and imaginative, with the use of bold, adventurous flavours which are used skilfully so they don't overwhelm. We made a poor choice of a Chinon rose wine which wasn't to our taste - hardly the restaurant's... More

We wanted to have a special meal our last evening in Tours. After checking out the menus at restaurants along rue Colbert, we decided to come here. When we arrived at 8:30 only one table was occupied - not a good sign, yet within a half hour, the place was packed. No surprise, as the food was the star. The... More

We had a fantastic dinner in this little place on the main street rue de colbert. Very correct service and fresh interesting dishes that leans towards michelin quality. I suggest to start with a petillant and than go for the fish.

I dined here with my sister our first night in Tours. We had the plat + dessert for 24 euros plus a glass of wine each for 5 euros. My sister had the steak which was tough so not enjoyable but nice vegetables and gravy. I am vege, so had the cannelloni entree as a main. It was lovely in... More

This restaurant was recommended by another one down the street that was full. It was a rainy night on this pedestrian street but the restaurant soon became full. The shrimp dish was outstanding as was the fish dish as a main. We had been eating at some highly rated restaurants during our month stay in France and this restaurant was... More

Very interesting dishes in this restaurant was a delight. The dishes were presented fantastically and a lot of love went in to make these meals special. We were recommended this restaurant by some locals of the area, and although the restaurant was very quiet the night we went in (mid week, pouring rain & we were the only people the... More

I'd heard excellent reviews of Cap Sud and my husband and I booked a table for an evening meal on 10th August for a special treat. We were disappointed though in the service, which started off well but then became very slow and we didn't get out till very late. Sadly we didn't like the the food as well. I... More
