Le Laurenty is fine dining at its best. The traditional French cuisine offered at reasonable prices in a cozy yet elegant atmosphere conjures up the best that French cooking has to offer. The attentive, cordial, and helpful service provided by our server Alba and by the owner Laurent truly made this dining experience the best of our two week trip... More

Quite simply two of the best meals I have ever eaten! My wife and I came across this restaurant by chance on Oct 31 and returned with my son on Nov 1. Both set menus have an excellent selection of interesting dishes and English is spoken well if any explanations or recommendations are needed. I started with lobster on the... More

This is a great little restaurant. Well located in central Tours. The owner Laurent is extremely personable and the food is outstanding and very reasonably priced. We ate at a couple of Michelin Star restaurants during a recent 2 week visit to France and the meals we ate at Le Laurenty blew them away - not even close.

We ate here on our first night and really enjoyed the experience. The staff were extremely helpful and their English very good. The food was gorgeous and excellent value. We chose of a "formula" - a set menu of either 2 or 3 courses. We had decided to go back there as a treat for my birthday on the Sunday... More

Discovered this restaurant on our very first night in Tours and so glad we did. Excellent food and personable service - the standard here is surprisingly good - it would not be out of place in the heart of Paris. You are spoiled for choice where to eat on rue Colbert, but this restaurant - Le Laurenty takes the gamble... More

This place is just amazing. The food is outstanding and the service is impecable. Great atmosphere and great value too. The owner, Laurent, is very friendly. We spent four nights in Tours and three of them were spent at le Laurenty. It's so good we never got tired of it. Everything on the menu is to die for, you can't... More

We stumbled across this little restaurant whilst looking for lunch in Tours and what a find it was! Two course for under Euros 12 and of great quality served by pleasant, smiling staff We only needed a glass or two of the local Rose wine to wile away a perfect lunchtime And we were the only English speakers there. Great!

This modern style small restaurant serves great food at a reasonable price particularly if you choose from one of the two fixed price deals ( which nearly everyone does ) . Very pleasant staff , good lively buzz as it was full (book ahead in the season as we saw people turned away) good wine list from local wines ,... More
