Very good.But the best Tour?

An excellent experience, faultless service and deserving of its reputation. For a restaurant of such standing very relaxed and welcoming

We have been eating at La Roche le Roy for more than fifteen years, although for some reason we had not visited for a long time and had wondered whether it could still be as enjoyable as we remembered. I'm very happy to say that we were not disappointed. Despite our long absence we were greeted like old friends and... More

On the second night of our trip we were taken to this jewel of a restaurant in tours which turned out to be the best as far as regional french gastronomy is concerned and regardless of its reputation the prices paid for either the surprise menu and the territorial menu was very good value for money Pretty looking country manor,... This was our second time dining here. Once outdoors during the summer and this month inside. Both atmospheres are pleasing. The owner is a British lady who is most personable and will engage in a conversation if you so desire. The dishes and service were both most enjoyable, and our out of town guest remarked in accord. There is a... More

La Roche le Roy is the place to go if you want to have an excellent view of what French Gastronomy is ! The staff is adorable, the place is a delight (a Touraine Manor), and the food is an amazement. One of the three "one star restaurant" in Tours.

A friend recommended this restaurant before our trip, and we booked long in advance. So it was with great anticipation that we arrived for the meal, and we weren't disappointed. It was one of the more special meals any of us have had. Unlike our other Michelin-rated meal on this trip, the service was superb. We actually arrived (accidentally) 30... More

We visited this restaurant for the third time earlier on this month - this time for a special birthday meal with our children. We were very well looked after and ate some truly exquisite food, all courses were perfectly executed. We were recommended the perfect wine to match our food and professionalism was maintained at all times. We thoroughly recommend... More

We like it. It's a nice little restaurant. Feels cozy, but not the exquisite or romantic type. Tables packed slightly close to each other, thus not feeling private enough. Staff are helpful, but seem in a rush and want to get things done quickly instead of delicately, eg wine dripped outside the glass when they poured it, etc. Oysters were... More

Among some one star Michelin restaurants, this shall be the top one worthwhile to visit. The waiters provide excellent service. Although we cannot speak French, they can speak English very well. The environment is graceful and decent for a nice dinner there with your love ones or great friends. The wine is awesome as well.

My wife and I had dinner here during our latest trip and absolutely loved it. We put ourselves in the hands of our server to choose our meal and wine and were not disappointed. Both the food and service were superb!
